Go Gators!!
On the take?
Hardly, all UAR had to do was then stop UF. UF was not in the endzone. And after UF tied the game UAR might have scored themselves. But alas they failed and UF marched the ball on the for a game winning field goal.
UAR that day was close to UF, but alas for you, they were not the equal to UF or better.
I thought this might be about last nights Ump crew in Anaheim. Both teams were rolling their eyes. Didn’t change the outcome, but it was an incredibly poor showing by the Umpire crew.
No doubt about it. They was robbed twice. It should have been Arkansas 20 Florida 13 final score. By the way, the SEC is by far the best conference in college football.
PING!!
Amen! Two bad calls in a row. I think it cost us the game.
parsy, the razorback
Too bad the NFL doesn’t suspend those idiot referees last Sunday for that totally idiotic 1st down call when the ball was at least 1 or 2 fists behind the first-down marker. Insane! Even the announcers (who definitely were not pro-Browns) couldn’t believe they gave the Steelers a 1st down.
‘Bout time the referees of most sports be made to pay for stupid, idiotic calls.
This crew well deserved to be removed from officiating, for good.
And any Florida fans or otherwise still pretending that the officiating wasn't grossly unfair to Arkansas, well, I expect you've got other problems of acknowledging reality other than in sports competitions.
Follow the money.
Hah, have they seen the officiating at the baseball playoffs.
Something is seriously wrong with the refs and umps.
Stating the obvious, I know.
This ping will be graphic-free as I am preparing to post this week’s live thread in a few hours.
Those were VERY important games for Florida. Investigate the crap out of these officials!
As a long time SEC football watcher and grad of an SEC school, I can honestly say that SEC football officiating has been, for YEARS, the absolute worst in all of organized sports.
Speaking of forfits, let's spare a moment to pity poor Delaware State University which became the only modern college team that I'm aware of to lose two games in a single day. When the school administration agreed to schedule their inevitable 63-6 drubbing at the hands of the Wolverines - and the $550,000 payout that went with it - they had overlooked the fact that they were already scheduled to play North Carolina A&T that same weekend. The game could not be rescheduled so in addition to their loss to Michigan they forfeited the game to NCA&T. Two losses, one day.
Unless you can prove FLA was in on it then you cant take the ‘win’ from them.
My husband told me about this last night and I immediately remembered some of you on the thread discussing the officiating. Like this helps AFTER a game is over.
