why? My best guess is she intended to rob or vandalize the fire station. The article said she made the call to lure them out, and then was trapped/crushed by the station's door.

What do you want to bet if she had lived she would of filed a lawsuit that would require all FD to install safety door stop devices or what ever you call those things.
Which IMO a great idea for private homeowners.

I’m sorry, we’re going to have to pass on this teleplay. No one would find this believable.
