Rosie O'Donnell has confirmed that she and longtime girlfriend Kelli Carpenter are on the rocks.
In a new interview with USA Today, she says, "We're a family. We will remain a family forever. And we are working on our issues."
The 47-year-old O'Donnell -- who has been suggesting a split on her blog -- wouldn't confirm a National Enquirer report that Carpenter, 42, has moved out of their Nyack, NY, home and into Manhattan. (USA Today notes that Carpenter was not at the house during the interview.)
Meet Rosie O'Donnell and other stars' surprise BFFs
"We're a family, we remain a family and we're working on the issues," O'Donnell said, noting that the well-being of their four children -- Parker, 14, Chelsea, 12 and Blake, 10, and Vivienne ("Vivi"), 7 -- is top priority.

Another one on the rocks. Is nothing sacred ?
I can't fathom why.........imagine waking up to this............
lol. Maybe they need to go on another cruise.
and in a few years, Kelli Carpenter will get married again, to a man... Their ‘lifestyle’ is a lie.
LOL
Now Rosie’s “wife” gets to present a claim for half of Rosie’s estate.
If they were simply cohabitating, the “wife” would get little or nothing.
No! How unusual.
“their four children”
Nope - sorry.
Four kids? As always, I’m happy to see that Rosie hasn’t been shooting blanks.
No more deserving a pair.
Tell that to the late Lee Marvin.
Carpenter was quoted as saying “I have to wake up and look at that every morning. I want to save what’s left of my eyesight.”
Where did the kids come from? Are they all adopted?
It was brutal, I'm surprised that Rosie sat there for it. I guess, on some level, she must be a pretty good sport.
The main character of the scene (a guy in drag, playing an insensitive weight loss group leader) asks her questions like,
"Are you so fat because you're a lesbian, or did you become a lesbian because you were so fat you couldn't get a man?"
Is she getting a new carpet?
And Rosie’s answer?
Oops, I was WRONG!!!
I dug into palimony further, and found that the Cali Supreme Court overturned Marvin v. Marvin.
You're right, "no soup for you!" (for just living together.)
