Oilers Zip late 4th
Dang.
I’ve seen it before...Brett carried some Packer teams with marginal or bad defenses and in the end it does not look pretty.
As a Longhorn and Cowboys fan, I have to say that Barry killed me when he was a Sooner and when he was a Cowboy.
Wonder if they’ll have a ceremonial burning of those old Oiler uniforms at the end of the season. They get their rear ends kicked every time they wear them. Of course, this year they’ve gotten their rear ends kicked every time they’ve put on shoulder pads.
As neither, it amazed me that Barry won with the Cowboys...just a testament to the level of talent they had back then that they won despite him. He seemed more of a team mom than coach.
...although when stationed at Ft. Sill, OK Barry was coaching OU and win or lose watching OU was entertaining because of Barry.
I don’t know what to make of this TN team which is essentially unchanged from last yr’s 13 win club—save the departure of Haynesworth. Other than it shows you how much of the game is emotional or mental, not necessarily primarily talent-dependent.
You hit it right on the nose. While talent is essential in any sport, that hard to define hunger to win is the difference between winning and losing. In the NFL it does not take too many weeks to sort out who has it and who doesn’t, while in other sports it takes almost an entire season to sort out.
You might have posted it above here, but if you don’t mind, would you please post a link? Thanks.
What happened to your Eagles......ha ha ha Raiders got something right this season!
One of my best days ever...
Oh, Lil...where's my cheesehead? and put your cheesebra on...its time to celebrate!
That would be a BIG NO! That’s like saying, well the leftest are in office, so lets just support them. Bye Bye NFL, bring on college ball.
I know what you mean. A 59-0 loss is close to the worst loss in NFL history. That was 73-0 Bears over the Redskins in 1940. The Pats could have hung that on them, but they took it easy after getting the big lead.
Unbelievable that they went from 13-3 to this in one season.
Yeah, after all, all of our institutions of "higher learning" are bastions of conservatism. < /sarcasm>
Let's see...NFL franchises compete in a marketplace and institutions of "higher learning" are socialist indoctrination mills....are you a moron? I think so.
Wanna bet on the which is higher..the percentage of NFL owners who are liberals vs. presidents of universities with division one football programs that are liberals? huh..wanna bet? Moron.
Sanchez had a worse game than Kerry Collins did today.
McNabb sucks.
The NFC East sure took a big hit today, the only “winner” today was the Cowboys and they didn’t even play.
