I reconfigured my settings a while back, and noticed a few days later that the Freeper Poll no longer showed up on the forum page. I went to the settings, moved the "opinion polls" section, and checked again. No polls ever show up.
Of course, there is a chance that the "polls" category has nothing to do with the freeper polls, and is actually for posting of online polls. If that is the case, I'm not getting that, either.
It's bad enough that I chose to put "GOP" on the end of my freeper name, long before I knew that I would grow to hate them, too.
I could start a new account and sign in under a new name, but then I'd be called a newbie and exposed to Freeper Newbie Distrust Syndrome - which is at epidemic levels here.........
I propose an exemption to the NO Name Change Rule for those with GOP or something indicating "Republican" in their screen name. We were duped!
But back to the polls thing. I can live with the screen name, demoralizing as it may be. However, my life won't be complete until I have solved the "polling" question.
Am I logged in? Maybe I hooked the ethernet cables backwards. Could it be the "Pepsi Syndrome"? Inquiring freepers need to know.

I can’t remember the last time I saw an opinion poll. Wish they would bring them back. Heck, I’d like to see a way we could put up user polls in a thread. Do it all the time on my gun forums.
I always intended my screen name to refer to the Clintons (and hopefully the Dems) but maybe I can have revisionist history and say it refers to the GOP!
