The art of driving through a puddle and splashing pedestrians is nothing new -- we're sure mammoths were running through puddles at high speed to splash cavemen even before the invention of the wheel -- but filming it and posting it to YouTube is.
Well now drivers have been warned they could face criminal charges for carrying out a drive-by-drenching.
Kerry Callard, 29, was recently caught after soaking a group of kids at a bus stop in Plymouth, Devon, and uploading the footage to the web.
The clip, called 'drowning school kids' was filmed by her partner who provided a running commentary from the passenger seat including the insightful observation "That was brilliant! Awesome!"
Shortly after the video 'drowning school kids' was posted to YouTube and Facebook, complaints were made to police and the clip was pulled. It must have been quick because it had only amassed 500 views, and this was YouTube gold. (It has since been uploaded again -- watch it via YouTube below.)
Callard was then quizzed by police and despite her claims that the kids asked to be splashed, she has been warned that officers are considering a charge of reckless driving... or they will do, when they stop laughing.

If one of my kids were deliberately drenched like that, Id be madder than a hornet. However, I laughed hard all 4 times that I watched it. Its really the narration thats funny. That's because you're a hypocrite.

Back in the 60s in Michigan we called it “street surfing”

Often, the "can't you take a joke" crowd's sense of humor abruptly evaporates when they are the target. That describes most liberals to a T.

Also include in the list of dangers of this prank;
What type of debris sits within this puddle? A rock? Broken glass? What if one of these were to become a projectile and seriously injure a child?
Jerk this broad's ticket and let her walk for a year. She won't be laughing then, I'd bet.

Could be. Or it could be that you're a dried-up, puckered-up old sourpuss. Since we don't know each other, I guess we'll never know the truth, will we?
Tell me...are you always so judgmental? And, did you read the last sentence of my post?
To: Daffynition
Well, excuse me, everyone, but I laughed at that video, too. Hard to believe a human being like that is on the loose. If I were the woman in the video, I’d have thrown my sack of purchases at the idiot.
That said, I still laugh every time I see it— the guy is funny looking. I just wonder how much further he/she/it hopped? Who, in their right man, premeditates something like that?

I understand that this is what they do for fun in Thialand one day a year. Can’t remember what it is called.

Now that one is funny. It appears the person in the funny suit was hopping like a bunny quite a long ways and had no idea the woman was crossing when she did. He just kept on hopping along.

Is it safe to say that if it were your kids in the video, despite the narration, you would not have been amused?
Good thing it was someone else’s kids.
