ALCS Yankees-Angels Sat night, NLCS Phillies-Dodgers Sat night. Talk about 'em here.
Going in: Yankees lead Angels 1 game to none, Phils and Dodgers are tied at a game apiece. From 40 degree (wind chill 25) NYC to 93 degree LA, it's baseball's league championship series.
OOPS Sunday night, sorry, for the NLCS
Wind knocked down Damon fly in bottom first “This ball is a home run during the warmer months”—McCarver
Why are both games on now simultaneously?
What happened to staggering the games so fans could watch both?
Woops sorry - looking at the wrong schedule there ...
Go Halos!
Those walks that Phillies gave the Dodgers yesterday reminded me of Game 3 of the 1977 NLCS when Dodger pitcher Burt Hooten walked in a bunch of runs.
Unfortunately, I think the Yankees are going to blow 'em all away, whether Angels, Phillies or Dodgers... hope I'm wrong.
Thanks for starting this thread, FRiend. :o)
no prob
Angels hitting, stealing starting to wake up? 2-1 NY. tying run on 2nd, 1 out in 5th
I screwed up my typing, meant to say Sun for NLCS!
There will be 2 games Mon but not on at same time—
ALCS at 4 NLCS at 8 Mon I think?
Wild pitch! Tie game
I don't know what happened to the Angels last night, but tonight they are "starting to look like the Angels" as McCarver said earlier.
Wild pitch... Tie game! Great job, Aybar!
