I think she looks gorgeous — especially when she opens her mouth to sing. I wish her the best. And I hope an HONEST man kisses her before it’s all over!

I once made a joke when at work (construction) years ago, but a few years after the demise of Karen Carpenter.
“Rainy Days and Mondays” was playing and when she got to the line “nothin’ ever seems to fit”, I couldn’t resist saying :OH, HOW IRONIC!!!! Whereupon my boss yelled out
“Come on, BE NICE!!!”

This woman had the voice of an angel but endured a lifetime of ridicule and fat jokes.
Oh, that was bad. We adored KC but our favorite “dark” joke on the matter is: if Mama Cass had shared her ham sandwich with Karen, would they both be alive today?

But not with the hideous hair-do or frumpy dress she first appeared on TV in - which I suspect was by design on the part of the producers.
She looks great. She does look like Mrs. Edwards in that photo though.
Her rendition of God Bless America is outstanding.
