LOL. At least they managed to keep this turd afloat, despite its dismal ratings. The phony rave reviews remind me of Geena Davis's Commander in Chief, which was supposed to be hillary's vehicle to the WH.

I continue to believe that the entertainment business is not much of a business at all. They don't focus on profits, they focus on their agenda.

The fact that few people watch 30 Rock doesn't matter -- it makes certain Liberals feel good to know it's out there, so they keep it on the air.

I have a TV that only shows DVDs, haven't had broadcast or cable in years. I have never seen an episode of this show or even a commercial for it--not a single frame. I've never heard one word about this show from a single person I know. My ONLY knowledge of this show comes from reading headlines about it online in terms of awards won, critical acclaim, etc. I haven't any idea what it's about or even who's in it other than Tina Fey, who doesn't strike me as particularly interesting.

I have always assumed, based on this, that it's a huge hit, a show everyone who watches TV-- other than, coincidentally--ALL the people I know, adores.

Interesting how reality and the MSM message completely contradict each other.

Overrated.

So’s Mad Men, which I enjoy infinitely more.

The twisted sisters of the TV critics’ club just loved “Arrested Development”, too.

I couldn't believe that all but one of the episodes nominated for the best comedy writing Emmy were from this show.

What is wrong with those people?

The first season was alright, but after that it just got unwatchable.

Alec Baldwin is an obnoxious jerk in real life but he's just about the only good thing about the show.

Tracy Jordan's stories are alright, but on the dumb side.

Liz, Kenneth, Jenna and the rest of the characters are just awful.

Fey's self-deprecatory approach to her character was okay in the first season, but it's gotten really repetitive.

And the whole "Family Guy" thing of cutting away from the action for some inserted scene to get a cheap joke has also gotten tiresome.

The last watchable episode for me was the one where Liz went to her high school reunion remembering that everyone gave her a hard time and found out that she'd been the one abusing them.

There’s only so much Tina Fey one can stomach.

Two words: Alec Baldwin

He’s a bad actor and a liberal blowhard. I don’t need any more reasons not to watch.

No TV show or movie will succeed if it contains Alec Baldwin. No matter how many projects his friends put him in to keep him working he has broken his plate with his audience. It doesn’t help that 30 Rock’s creator and star became a media darling attempting to destroy an adored Republican candidate. Tina Fey isn’t worthy to carry Sarah’s ammo.

Isn’t this the COMEDY about the drama program that is called Saturday Night Live?

Maybe the audience considers Tina Fey too “divisive”, and a “hater”.

30 Rock is funny - it should have a bigger audience.
