Why are the Sox playing the Angels at noon (9:00 AM, LAX time)??? There’s no game scheduled for late afternoon (4:00PM).
That was probably the Dodgers/Cardinals' time slot.
The Dodgers didn’t win advancement, the Cardinals handed it to them. Yes, this is sour grapes..
That was when game 4 of the Cards-Dodgers would have been..
New England Patriots at Denver Broncos 4 PM.
I live in the mountains just west of Denver. It is 10:00 am and the temp outside is up to 28F. Phillies and Rockies will have a cold game after being postponed yesterday due to snow.
I”m undecided in this game....A sweep of the sox would be good revenge...Halos are a tough team tho and would make for an exciting series...
SOOOOO lazy today...
They couldn’t schedule it in the day?
It’d be nice if they could actually get more than two hits in an inning today.
MLB has a real death wish scheduling against the NFL. If they had a brain they would switch games so that they can be seen by the most people, on a day or evening that they will bring in new and old fans.
Won’t conflict with Pats...of course when the time was chosen they didn’t know the STL-LAD series would be over by now. If there were a second TV outlet they could have had both on at 4, but it would again conflict with Pats...?
Indeed a 9 AM start for those out west, and Red Sox radio pointed out the other night “batting practice will be at 9:30 am which will feel like 6:30 am to the Angels”. And to the Sox for that matter who had been in LA long enough for their body clocks to adjust. A few yrs back a Patriots day game was scheduled, Sox vs Angels, for 10 am ET—7 am PT! But there was a rain delay so it didn’t start ultimately till noon ET.
I think that the time slot was in place for the television schedule for the game 4 slot. They just moved game 3 to the scheduled slot that was in place for game 4.
They used to schedule weekend day games for this round, esp. on Saturdays, at the same time—you’d have one game on ESPN and one on ESPN2...now they want to have no conflicts. But they are indeed against football, but Pats are in Denver
w/ a 4 pm start.
Tomorrow acc to Yahoo sports
Yanks-Min 5:07 pm (unless NYY ends it tonight)
Sox-Angels 8:37 pm (unless Angels end it today; poss. an hour earlier if no Yankees-Twins game)
Phils-Rockies TBA but poss. 10 pm Eastern? Or earlier?
So, when does the World Series begin? Sometime in February?
It actually begins Oct 28; many recent world series have ended before that...and if it goes 7 games gm 7= Nov 5.
