Yes, I am concerned....I used to be concerned about the typical things in life: Who's picking up my son from school, are the Eagles going to win, can I sell more this year than last and I hope my kids are happy. Now I am concerned about losing freedoms, corruption that is out of control, radical groups infiltrating schools, towns and every aspect of our life....most of all, a power hungry, out of control government that seeks to "destroy" this great country. Never have I woke up in the middle of the night worrying about our freedoms and the possibility of living under a tyrannical government the likes of Russia.

I am stocking up on food, ammo, etc....but it should not come down to this! WTF, we live in the United States of America..the best country in the world and I WILL NOT... I REPEAT, I WILL NOT let any radical group or corrupt government steal that from me and my family. Continue to pray, act and support each other!!! Even though I am concerned and know we have some very scary times coming, God is victorious and we as a people will prevail. As Benjamin Franklin said "We can hang together or Hang alone.." We need to continue to "fight the good fight" and preserve the freedom and future for our children and great grand children.

These next few months (or more) are the most critical of our lives. Continue to take the time to pray everyday, write, email and call all elected officials. Forward emails and don't back down to ANY opposition!! This is our freedom on the line...you are bound to tick off some people, but don't you think it's worth preserving our God given freedom? I think so....so continue to press on my friends and add any suggestions below.

Don’t blame you for worrying about all this stuff. And you’re not alone.

Okay, I’ll keep beating my head against the wall....employing the same tactics and expecting a different result. Fax, call, e-mail...and hope for change. That’s the ticket.

Prepare for the worst...but continue to work hard for the present and to use methods to roll back the socialist/marxist agenda.

Here's a way that numerous freepers and oath keepers came up with. Click on the link and take a look. In order for us to roll this back, we have to stand up and get out and demonstrate for sure so they know we are out here and so we can halt some of the more atrocious things that are happening now.

But to really be effective, we have to get millions of Americans to focus on the constitution and its fundamental principles...and then to vote accordingly. And we have to find candidates that they can vote for. That's what this effort is all about:

AMERICA WANTS YOU (TO RESTORE THE CONSTITUTION

“As Benjamin Franklin said “We can hang together or Hang alone..”

Franklin was wise;

At the close of the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia on September 18, 1787, a Mrs. Powell anxiously awaited the results, and as Benjamin Franklin emerged from the long task now finished, asked him directly: “Well Doctor, what have we got, a republic or a monarchy?”

“A republic if you can keep it” responded Franklin.

It’s on us now, but we gave up on a Republic a long time ago when we started giving up States rights and drifting into a poor form of Democracy. We need to restore the Republic. And we won’t do that easily.

No one cares to contemplate the collapse of their own country into dictatorship - much less a general civilizational collapse. The latter case is the fire that these Orwellian, Gramscian fools are playing with, IMHO. Deep down, they're perfectly fine with ruling what remains of us from atop a stinking pile of rubble and corpses. That scenarion suits them, as you cannot rule a free and prosperous people. It is necessary first to kill most of them and cruch the rest under dictatorship - this is nothing less than what they already written and spoken of. Bill Ayers himself speculated that the New Socialsit Man would have to kill off at lest 20% of the American population in rder to usher in the New Day and the New Man.

And if that seeems fantastic, it is no more than others have alerady done in jsut the last century - from Mao to Pol Pot, from Hitler to Stalin. Mass murder, slaughter, atrocity and enslaveemnt on a scale that beggars the imagination. History is your witness.

One of the slogans of the anarcho-left is, "Burn the old world to reveal the new." I've seen it on their protest signs. Trouble is, once they succeed in that, they'll be overrun by the latest resurgence of tribalism and barbarity - Islam. Their shitty little concentration camp empire will last less than a generation.

Then, it's a thousand years or more of darkness and tyranny. That's the likely outcome if we don't stand up and recalim our Republic - we'll pay the price for that in fire and blood.

Keep doing exactly what you’re doing b/c it’s working. You are helping to wake decent people up. A few months ago, friends and relatives all thought I was a crackpot suffering from extreme paranoia. This week I’ve had phone calls from 3 of these people (last week it was only 2) asking how they can learn more about what’s going on in the government. I’ve noticed that on nonpolitical message boards, more and more conservatives are giving it right back to the liberals and not allowing themselves to be shouted down. In other words, the Tea Pary movement is snowballing.

Don't waste time railing against reality. It *has* come to this, and it *will* come to a shooting war with these people. They want it, they're pushing for it, and by golly, they're going to get it.

So continue to do what you're doing, but accept it, don't play the "shoulda/coulda/woulda" game with yourself.

All the coming travails are going to end, and humanity is going to begin a hyper-Renaissance the likes have which has never been seen.

But we're going to build it on the unmarked graves of tyrants and their evil minions.

You are not alone. Just last night I had this conversation with my husband. We were talking about how so many people are depressed because of what is happening to our beloved country. We feel trapped into staying with the status quo. Afraid to make a move because the economy is so bad, like we have no options. We desperately want to leave the northeast but our jobs are here and I suppose we should be thankful we still have them. Our youngest son just graduated from college last May and is working for hourly wages in a field he didn’t even study. My oldest son is working two jobs to take care of his family. Our children defintely are looking at a lower quality of life than we had. And our retirement is looking bleaker by the day. We don’t have a party to represent us. Yes, I’m very concerned.

We will not solve things in one big swoop. It took us time to get here, after all. It takes millions upon millions of people like you to make things happen.

I just posted an article on Contract From America. Their address is http://www.contractfromamerica.com/Idea.aspx . You can join their site and then make suggestions as to what laws you would like to see passed. It will make the Tea Party movement more targeted in its goals, IMO. It’s something else you can do.

Just remember that the town halls this summer dramatically changed the debate on health care. We are making a difference. As long as a lot of us feel this way, we will have an effect.

Care to share?

Here’s something else you can do on a daily basis from your computer. The story just below yours on FR is entitled, “Digg.com - A Conservative Movement and How You Can Help.” The author wants people on FR to go on the Digg site and make the articles on the site more conservative. Read the article to get the whole story.

Here’s a little project I’m currently working on. I am making a list of Great Things About the US, IMO. I want it to take up one page only when I’m done. I will be listing the number of Nobel Prizes awarded to Americans and other things that we have accomplished. The idea is to counter the “hate America” ideology to which young people are subjected. I will be posting this on FR when I’m done to get (hopefully constructive) comments and suggestions, and I will be printing out my list and posting it on college bulletin boards and telephone poles in my area. Anyone else can use my list (and alter it if you wish).

Is this a small thing? Yes, of course it is, but if millions and millions of people keep at it, these efforts will have an effect.

Think about how little sense gay marriage makes. Yet with strategy and perserverence, gay rights proponents have made great headway with their cause. If gay rights activists can persuade large numbers of people that homosexuals are victims in spite of disease statistics and that gay marriage is just a variation on heterosexual marriage, then surely we can reinvigorate the traditions of this country. Am I making sense?

I don't know if this will help or not, just my observations.

Government has not been trustworthy since the 1950's.. Never trust government...period,p. Being in my seventh decade, I have watched the drip, drip drip for decades.

The difference is O is pushing all at once and the citizens have awaken...that is good, in the past people didn't pay attention cause the libs moved in bits and pieces...but feel confident now with all 3 branches of gov't. To many of us that lived BR (before Reagan) Washington was always liberal with NO opposition....Democrats had the house for over 40 years before Clintons 2nd year. All budgets begin in the House...We lived through only 3 liberal networks. Four if you count PBS. No Rush or talk radio, no internet and I spent years thinking I was the only one that felt conservative....found out there are millions of us...Wait until 2010 for worry. That will determine (hopefully) which way things will truly go... Take a break from politics turn off the news and spend time enjoying your family, even in hard times, love of family is still the best part.

Do what you can, the results are God's to make not yours..

Lots of people are as concerned as you, but give yourself a break... The American people will always find a way to freedom...

These are unsettling times... we’ve had a lot of losses - some wins. The O’Keefe and Hannah thing was a clear win - they’ll be others. Hang in there - we’re with you.
