Fox Business News debuts Imus in the Morning today at 6AM EDT.
Sorry, just sounds like Rainman to me.
No need to apologize. Imus has niche appeal, that's for sure. And I'm with those who are unhappy that he said Sarah is stupid even if it was a shock stunt which it might not have been.
When Imus said about Sarah...”She is a dope”, that was it for me.
I’ll tell you what constitutes ‘a dope’, it’s someone who goes on national television and calls young black girls “NAPPY HEADED HO’S” and laughs hysterically about it.
Then this ‘dope’ goes running to grovel at the feet of Al Sharpton, chastising himself over and over again. He would have agreed to a public lashing in Times Square if he thought he could keep his job.
Yeah Imus, SHE”S the DOPE.
That seems to be the general consensus around here. Can't blame you. He rubs people the wrong way and you can never tell when it's a joke or real or somewhere in between.
Some of his bits are on the crude and explicit side, too, like the one on right now. Not really family stuff at all.
Ping me when it’s his last day.
A detriment to credibility and a total waste of air time.
Only if I'm watching....
He lost me way before that.
Kinda hollow when an idiot declares other people to be idiots.
Well, it seems to be over.
CONCLUSION: Nothing new here. Higher quality guests than Morning Joe and much less blatant leftist propaganda but one thing remains the same....
... Imus be Imus. If you didn’t like him then you won’t like him now.
Let’s see, which would I rather do today:
Gouge my own eye out with an old rusty spoon or
listen to Imus.
Gosh, neither seems that appealing to me.
Tough choice! ;0)
What’s with the cowboy hat?
Imus fancies himself a cowboy and actually has a working ranch that he brings kids with cancer to visit and participate in the ranch's activities. He raises a LOT of money for those kids.
Well we can surely fix that...
I used to watch Imus a lot so I thought I’d give it a try on Fox Business. The problem with his show is that you don’t get nearly as much news as you do on the Fox News Channel.
Imus and his crew goof around so much that you miss out on the news. I switched back to FNC.
The Fox Business Imus show is a disappointment exactly because it is no better, and maybe even worse with fewer good guests, than when Imus was on MSNBC.
I wish FBN would put John Stossell in that time slot. Let HIM interview people and get to the bottom of things.
I've got Fox and Friends on as I write. Glenn Beck is talking about the war between Fox and the White House. Good stuff.
Maybe it’s going to be up to Neil Cavuto and other management at Fox Business to get Imus good guests everyday before this new show goes down the tubes. You’d think Bernard and Charles would do it.
I like Bernard. Charles has something wrong with his sense of decency and appropriateness.
I'm sure both do nothing the Boss doesn't approve of.
I'm curious what you mean. In the past, Imus was always talking about Charles being a born-again Christian.
Oops. I got the names reversed. I meant the bald headed producer guy. Sorry.
Bernard does go overboard with his skits, but you can be sure Imus approves.
Another problem with the Fox Business Channel is that it’s #152 on RCN cable. CNN, CNBC, MSNBC, and FNC go from 30-34 on RCN, and #152 is inconvenient.
