M2 Medium Tank:

In theory, these tanks could match German Mark III's, but not in reality.
They were not even close to Mark IV's. So they were obsolete before completed.
German Mark IV -- 262 produced before Polish campaign, another 223 soon after.:

Only about 100 M2 Medium tanks were produced before changing over to the more "modern" M3 Lees & Grants:
