Senator Rowland Burris of Illinois, the Senator who was appointed to fill President Barack Obama’s vacant Senate seat, blames George Bush for Chicago not getting the Olympics in 2016. Burris stated in an interview, shortly after the announcement, that the image of the U. S. has been so tarnished in the last 8 years that, even Barack Obama making an unprecedented pitch for the games could not overcome the hatred the world has for us as a result of George Bush. Wow! When will the Democrats in Congress ever get off this “Blame Bush” syndrome. Burris even went on to say that this is just another way Bush is now hurting Chicago. Yes blame Bush, don’t mind all the crime and corruption that has come out of Illinois over the last year. This “Blame Bush” strategy is getting pretty old.

I am convinced that talking point memos were sent out in advance stating that this would be the official response in case Chicago was not picked.
It is so blatantly obvious that this response was planned. I cannot believe how many different people are cited using this same excuse - practically word for word!
Had Chicago been chosen every single one of them would have read the same prepared response - The world has forgiven the US for the Bush years; the world is bestowing Chicago with the 2016 Olympics because they are happy and relieved that Obama is the US president.
Maybe we could start a petition demanding our fair share of the blame/credit. And don’t be so quick to restrict that to men, much less just white men!
It’s incredibly funny. The satisfaction of seeing the perpetually bratty schoolmates who shoot their mouths off, consistently disrupt class, etc. getting called out to the principal’s office.
The only detail I’d like to add to this would be the good ol’ days when the teacher would put the wooden paddle to their butts in front of the whole class. Then the satisfaction of watching them crying like the little babies they are as they returned to their seats.

The world has watched for days the beating to death of an innocent kid on the streets of Chicago and Bush is the one to blame for Chicago losing out? When did I drop down the rabbit hole and end up in an alternative world.

Sorry, but according to the Left, only white men can be blamed for the bad things that happen. Women and minorities who are conservative are just misguided, but can repent and return to victim status if they choose to do so.
