I love Rush..I do. But if my memory serves me correctly, he came forward about his vicodin addiction ONLY when he found himself being blackmailed...am I correct? I love Rush..I dislike hypocrites. Tell me where I'm wrong.
LOL! It was a shining moment! It was so long ago...1993. I was telling him about MTV’s coverage of the Republican National Convention. I ended up saying that although we didn’t know much about Bill Clinton, we had to look at who aligns themselves with him...he went NUTS! Told me he was orgasmic by what I was saying! The next day a friend of mine, who had heard me on the radio, came to my office with a T-SHIRT he had made up for me which read, “I GAVE RUSH AN ORGASM!” LOL! It was a simpler time then....
ROFLMAO!
Thanks, Thanks. I needed that laugh.
If your low back ever hurt so bad that you could not defecate you doing vicoden would not be viewed as addiction. Someone having affair knows they’re doing wrong.
Man, I’m sorry to hear it. You do what the doctor tells you, and end up ruining your life.
ONE MORE TIME.go back and read my short post..I WAS REFERRING TO THE BLACKMAIL...
He is a poor chooser.
Letterman wasn’t having “sex, sex” with his subordinates. You see, he is a star, so he was just giving them a “special way to remember him.” More importantly, his intern should be grateful for being pursued by this elite, special man!
I mean, he didn’t have a pen to sign her breast, so he went one better!
You decide who you want to screw.
You don’t decide when you have pain, and you can’t turn it off with a cold shower.
What’s needed is a non-addictive pain killer that works. The only problem is there’s nothing better than an opiate derivative or synthetic opiate that works better for pain that I know of.
Get your facts straight before you post for all the world to see, Rush was addicted to oxycondone.
I can't believe what I'm reading here...So anyone who has pain gets to break the law? We get to break laws based on what we think of then? Hate to break this to you, there are other ways to control pain than to take mass quantities of narcotics.
You don’t have to shout, hon. Your intended message is read and understood, loud and clear....”now”.
Sheesh.
Hey, would you mind sharing those 'other ways' with those of us that could benefit from your vast knowledge and experience? I don't take any narcotics and don't want to, but I DO have chronic back pain (I have tried acupuncture...it didn't work for me).
Oxycontin is a “Brand” name for the drug oxycondone.
I didn’t say it was ok to break the law as archaic as it may be.
I only said that you can decide to screw your staff like Letterman did, but you don’t have that decision with pain.
Try to keep things in context.
" love Rush..I do. But if my memory serves me correctly, he came forward about his vicodin addiction ONLY when he found himself being blackmailed...am I correct? I love Rush..I dislike hypocrites. Tell me where I'm wrong."
and then tries to pretend that they were ONLY talking about the blackmail issue. It's almost borderline leftie-like....duplicity. Almost...or exactly.
Rush was being TARGETED by the left because of his effectiveness against the left. That leftie attempt failed to take Rush down...and failed miserably. Letterman, a Bush-hating, Obama-worshipping leftie, has been boinking his hired help and had to fess up or pay the blackmailer.
But hey....forget all that. She was ONLY talking about the 'blackmail' similarity! LOL!
“Rush once told me, on air, that I gave him an orgasm” and you consider that something to brag about? Have you posted it on your face book, yet?
Are you on drugs right now?
What calendar date? Which hour of the show?
What name did you give to the call screener? Did Rush announce that name when you came arrived on the air?
Cheers!
