NEW YORK - You know the title, now see the cover of Sarah Palin's "Going Rogue."
The former Alaska governor's memoir, a top-seller online weeks before publication, will feature an outdoor shot of Palin, wearing an American flag pin on her red fleece top, eyes turned slightly from the camera as she smiles confidently into the horizon, a patchwork of Alaska blue sky and clouds behind her.

...during the Alaska summers, Sarah works with Todd as a commercial fisherwoman... Yes, I believe we all heard about that. I was referring to the lack of mention of her employment prior to her city council stint beginning at age 28ish.

Reagan Man, you need to choose a new screen name with your confused reality & idiotic attacks on Sarah.
Sarah herself explained very clearly why she left office 18 months early. It was for the benefit of the Alaskan taxpayers due to the false ethics charges filed by the liberal 'rats.
Clearly you are a typical republican liberal elitist in the mold of Juan MCCain & Jorge Bush. And clearly you cannot see the pure Americana in Sarah as it was in Reagan.
YOur continued attacks simply provide more evidence of my post. I suggest you return to DU and hang with your country club elitists.

From the dopey responses on this thread, like yours, I'd say my criticism of Palin hit the bull's-eye!
Obviously, Palin quit her job as Governor because she couldn't handle the pressure, the scrutiny or take the heat of politics anymore. I don't blame her either. Elective office can overwhelm the best people and politics can humble anyone.
If Palin chooses to run in 2012, she'll be going from the frying pan to the fire. If all you Palin sycophants think running as VP in 2008 brought the spotlight of scrutiny down on Palin, just wait. It will get a lot worse. I'm not so sure Palin is willing to go through all that BS again.

What lies? Sarcasm, bucko! This is just silly.
Tina Fey's joke happens to be what most Americans know about the extent of Palin's foreign policy experience. That is not my fault. The following is what was actually said about Russia, by Palin to Charles Gibson.
PALIN: Weve gotta keep an eye on Russia.
You can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska.

There is only person whose book title Sarah Palin was trying to copy. That would be “An American Life” by Ronald Reagan. A smart move, but not original.

At any rate, Palins citing Alaskas proximity to Russia was at least as good a qualification as Obama running his own campaign and being a community organizer, both of which were put forward as evidence of executive experience. Newsflash: No presidential candidate other than a sitting vice-president or a military leader, ex-secretary of state or foreign adviser has foreign policy experience. To say that Palin doesn't have foreign policy experience is really a disingenuous argument. But I would argue that Palin does have some foreign policy experience, because she was briefed on North Korea firing missiles and she dealt with Canada on the pipeline. If that isn't a pre-requisite then nothing is.
