NEW YORK - You know the title, now see the cover of Sarah Palin's "Going Rogue."
The former Alaska governor's memoir, a top-seller online weeks before publication, will feature an outdoor shot of Palin, wearing an American flag pin on her red fleece top, eyes turned slightly from the camera as she smiles confidently into the horizon, a patchwork of Alaska blue sky and clouds behind her.

“Of course she did. Alaska is on the front lines of America’s defense and as Commander in Chief of the AK Guard she often received military briefings. Alaska is also next to Canada and she had to deal with that nation as well.”
None of which would mean much of anything if she were being compared to Biden or McCain, but she wasn’t. All Obama had going for him was he traveled a little. At any rate, Palin’s citing Alaska’s proximity to Russia was at least as good a qualification as Obama running his own campaign and being a community organizer, both of which were put forward as evidence of executive experience.

“Key phrase here is ‘among conservatives.’ I didn’t say among the general population”
I’m a conservative, and although I thought she beat Biden in the deabate and picking her was better than picking a dud like Pawlenty, I’ve never been carried away by Palin. We exist.

Nice!! :-)
Sarah rocks even when she's NOT saying or doing anything! (Except making liberal heads explode like that movie Scanners, LOL!)

Have to be honest, I don’t care for it. I wish see was looking right at the camera, staring down her foes. It kind of reminds me of the cover of the 40 year old virgin.

I get so tired of people making lame comments about how they wish SP was different. Would it have been better if she completed 2 terms? Had a strong academic career at say a Pac-10 school? Had Levi Johnston been sterile? Yes to all those questions.
But, that’s not what happened. She is who she is. And who she is, is the only GOPer who has a fighting chance to stop this marxist take-over.

People post on a Palin thread that she is irrelevant. Pointing out the oxymoron seems apropos to me. Clocked that one @ 105 mph, right over the center of the plate ;~)

You know I'm wondering if the sub-title,
An American Life wasn't chosen deliberately by Mrs Palin in honor of the past President of whom 'not a day passes that she does not think about him'.
Mrs Palin is ready to be our next President, and more importantly America is ready for her.

I read what you posted with all the caps and exclamation points. Frankly, I didn't think it mattered anymore after last July and Palin’s announcement she is stepping down as Alaska Governor. IMO, age has nothing to do with success. Finishing what you start is critical to being successful, however.
Reagan was comfortable in his own skin. He knew his abilities and his limitations. Reagan didn't start something he couldn't finish. Reagan finished his two terms as Governor of California. There was no quit in Reagan.

I think so. She admired Reagan a lot so I think this is a fitting tribute to him
To: Tublecane
picking her was better than picking a dud like Pawlenty Did you ever get the impression that the McCain campaign ever did any real vetting of her? It sure looked they were bildsided by the state investigation that was already underway. And Palin seemingly didn't tell them about it.
