Isn’t it funny “cute as pie”. When I see a piece of pie, I never remember saying “Gee, that sure is a cute piece of pie”....LOL!

Our troops are in more danger from DC then from the insurgents!

For that matter, so are we here at home!!!!!!!!!

We at home ought to think about what those who defend us are thinking, what they endure. What their going through, and how they are becoming the new vets of another Vietnam, another war where the political leaders bungle and wait, and military leaders are held back, and Americans die because they are. The left has always cost us too much, in money, in honor, in spirit, in faith, in self-respect. I’ve been there, God don’t let us put these heroes in the same hole!

What Goes Through Their Minds

I watch, wondering if the enemy comes like doom
I wait, and wondering why I’m here, and for whom
The news I get from home is bad, do they care
from the news, it’s clear what our leaders think fair

They wait, and we die, they speak and we die
we struggle as did those in another war’s lies
Those who should lead don’t and we pay the price
and our families suffer for the acts of these lice

Worse, we wonder if our country will be there
if we get back will it still be America the Fair
I fear it will be something less then before
a lot of us do and that angers us even more

Will those there stand up to the evil to hand
or are we the last few of an honorable band
I watch, wondering which enemy comes like doom
I wait, wondering why I’m here, and for whom

This Lord’s Day

This very day I do silent wait,
for the first rose light of dawn
For sure as the weight of fate
the first brush strokes are drawn

I watch the Master’s solar art
spreading across the broad sky
I know that in Him I am a part
and my weary soul lifts to fly
