This is one big diamond.
This thing is the size of a chicken egg.
It was discovered in South Africa.
The 507.55-carat gem reportedly has "exceptional color and clarity."

Am sure there is a Saudi Prince somewhere, with more money than sense, who wants it.

What do you do with something like this?I'd sell it to the sap who thinks diamonds are rare simply because they're expensive.

I’d have it cut up. I’d get a lot of girlfriends and even give one to my wife.
To: cakid1
Cut it into 500 one carat diamonds! I hear one carat diamonds are worth quite a bit. Times 500.
Atually, I’d sell it pretty much immediately. I could carry it around in my pocket to buy stuff, but I doubt anybody could make change.
;)

Your logic is a lot like saying land should have no value as there is so much of it.
To: cakid1
Wow! That’s even bigger than the one I gave my wife - barely!
To: Artemis Webb
That reminds me.
Q: How do you know your girlfriend is getting fat?
A: Your wife’s clothes fit her.

Reminds me of a joke...
One lady sitting next to another at the opera says:
"Excuse me, but isn't that The Klopman Diamond on your finger?
"Why yes, it is, as a matter of fact...
"But...doesn't The Klopman Diamond come with a curse?
"Yes it does...Mr. Klopman."

I would keep it in my pocket so I could cut gang symbols into the mirrors in public restrooms.
To: RobRoy
That is not a good plan. Diamond values rise exponentially with carat weight. You would do better to have few, larger ones.

Kobe Bryant could get at least a dozen more rapes out that rock, and still keep his wife!
