What are we called if we dislike Jimmy Carter?
Me too, it is completely out of character. Which makes me wonder if he spoke out of fear...
How’s Fat Albert doing these days. He’s come a long way from Eye Spy.
Politics, and especially race-based politics, makes for strange bedfellows.
“Disease does not discriminate.”
You lie! There are quite a few that I can think of that are almost entirely specific to certain demographics...
We are in a spritual battle . In the Greek , it says in the last days kingdom will rise against kingdom, and ethnos will rise against ethnos.
This is alarming.
Bill, a combination of my and Richard Pryor/Eddie Murphy’s comments:
1. Go check out YouTube during the 2005 and 2006 State of the Union speech under your hero’s predecessor. Observe and listen to the behavior.
2. Have a Coke and a smile and STFU.
Maybe Mr. Bill should ‘axe Kayne if he likes white women.
I am so very sorry to hear Cosby falling in line with the skin deep, race baiters. I am disappointed and saddened by this. At times, he has been a force for bringing up blacks and minorities, and then he does this.
I saw Cosby live a few years back. I was bored out of my skull with all the cliches, but I didn’t hold it against him, I just thought he was talking to a different audience than me. Now, I see he is just a senile old coot like carter.
“He was the angriest young man I’d ever met.” — actor Robert Culp, in talking about working with Bill Cosby on “I Spy.”
I used to work in an office down the hall a 100 feet from Bill Cosby at the Kaufman Astoria film studios. The guy I worked for was friendly with Cosby, he used to bring clients to meet Cosby and he would cooperate by being cordial, BUT, he insisted to me Bill Cosby was a racist from their conversations. It was one guys opinion, so take it for what it’s worth.
Come on, Bill. You are much more intelligent than that.
What the hell does health care have to do with racism? Is Bill Cosby saying only blacks don’t have current health care? That sounds racist to me...(see this line of thought is stupid)
Cosby has been a sham and a shill since he tried to get us all to drink ‘new’ Coke. He is self-serving in a way that must make Jessie Jackson wince.
From Jeff Head's website...
One notable quote from [James] Cone describing his Black Liberation Theology is as follows:
"Black theology refuses to accept a God who is not identified totally with the goals of the black community. If God is not for us and against white people, then he is a murderer, and we had better kill him. The task of black theology is to kill Gods who do not belong to the black community ... Black theology will accept only the love of God which participates in the destruction of the white enemy. What we need is the divine love as expressed in Black Power, which is the power of black people to destroy their oppressors here and now by any means at their disposal. Unless God is participating in this holy activity, we must reject his love." - "Divine Racism: The Unacknowledged Threshold Issue for Black Theology", in African-American Religious Thought: An Anthology, by William R Jones, ed Cornel West and Eddie Glaube (Westminster John Knox Press).

HANNITY: But Reverend Jeremiah Wright is not backing down and has not for years and in his strong stance on the teaching of black liberation theology is nothing new. He had the same things to say last spring when he appeared on "Hannity & Colmes:"
WRIGHT: If you're not going to talk about theology in context, if you're not going to talk about liberation theology that came out of the '60s, systematized black liberation theology that started with Jim Cone in 1968 and the writings of Cone and the writings of Dwight Hopkins and the writings of womynist theologians and Asian theologians and Hispanic theologians, then you can't talk about the black value system.
HANNITY: But I'm a reverend
WRIGHT: Do you know liberation theology, sir?

BC is too old to be nothing but old school. He’s still living in the days of the KKK.
My theory is Cosby's caught up in this whole, First African Amercian Prez history making thing. Cosby is not some saint ya know, he does have some liberal selfish leaning skeletons. He seemed a little senile too when I saw him on Meet The Press. He could barely put a coherent thought together, he was just loopy!.
I, too, so very disappointed in Bill Cosby.
