Black Helicopters over Pittsburgh
Posted on 09/20/2009 3:42:51 PM PDT by Yorlik803
Yesterday and last night, there have been heavy helicoptor traffic over Pittsburgh. Apaches flew overhead yesterday and I dont know what the hell was flying last night, but whatever it was, it was low. The G20 summit is coming to town, so one could see the State Police choppers flying around, but Apaches are tank killers. Will protestors have armor? Anyone have any ideas? Take all pictures of Pittsburgh while it still exists, because after the Anarchists and other assorted goofballs get done with us, the Steel City will look like Stalingrad.

Make sure you go a few blocks to Forbes Ave and find the Original Hot Dog joint. You won't be sorry.
Wonder what one of those things costs these days?
They helped get me through college.

I agree, one more reason to stay out. Quinn said this morning they're holding it here b/c our boy/man mayor was the only city leader dumb enough to say yes. Every other mayor had the sense to say no thanks. I heard a news clip of a bunch of protesters yelling about jobs, they had set up a tent city someplace....if you have time to set up and stay in a 'tent city' for days I'm not surprised you don't have a job.
Wouldn't surprise me. Yeah, if those protesters put in half the time to get a job, they would be better off. I know there are times you might not be able to get the job you want or in your field, but in order to survive, you might have to take pot-luck. I know, I did, I've worked in IT and accounting but I currently work in an auto parts store delivering parts and so on. A lot of the stuff is heavy, the only gripe I have is I wish I was twenty years younger, 23 instead of 43 but those are the breaks. At least I'm working and producing. I'd love to go to a lot of 9-12 stuff but I work. That's the difference, most of us are too busy with jobs, family and lives, the libs either don't work or they cut out something like family time and so on.

Thank You, yes it did and traffic was not too bad, found a shorter way to get there and went early and Dr. saw me early..I have one more test to do, and that is a hearing test to see if an implant will benefit me..so another couple trips to the Burgh, I really love driving thru Pittsburgh at night, the lights are so nice.
was sad to learn that my son can not sit in on my surgery, as the relationship is too close, but the surgeon is willing to allow him to observe another cochlear implant. My son has sat in and illustrated many surgeries, he has a number of medical books he has illustrated, he is very talented, we are very proud of him.
will keep my fingers crossed, not fun living in a WHISPER WORLD...

At least you tried for the hot dog. Maybe some other time. Yes, the college crowd can be nasty.
So you are from the Somerset area. Know it pretty good. I have had 3 cars break down over the years there.
Jim's Auto place knows me already. Also spent a lot of time at Seven Springs.
God Bless you with the cochlear implant operation. Send me a ping on how it goes.

go to Seven Springs often. I was born in Somerset County a long time ago but moved to Cleveland as a kid with the folks, best thing my parents ever did for us..Was a Buckeye for 51 years, met hubby there and he too was from Somerset County..we have had a summer place here for over 40 years, so we came here when we retired, it is beautiful country,I think the entire state of Pennsylvania is beautiful, just our Gov. is a jerk, soon to be replaced by a Republican hopefully..
again thanks for your good wishes I'm excited about it... Carole haircutter
