I don't know ... 4 or 5 years ago this guy showed up on a Brit variety show and blew them all away ... he won an ultimate show before the queen and this is that performance.

Yeah - saw the show where he came out and blew the judges and audience away ... halfway through his performance people were on their feet applauding! I’ve been to his website ....

Not an opera singer, but this is the lastest talent reality show “find”...Danyl Johnson.

Quite the entertainer...he’s a school teacher.

One of our morning talk show hosts promo'd him the next day and I was driving at the time. Not being into opera, but appreciative of music .. I was captured.

I got high speed about 3 or 4 months ago and found him on youtube and .. if you follow his progression from that first performance to the one I posted, y'can't help but be impressed.

Well I sure was impressed the minute he started to sing. Then to see what he was up against at the final judging. I wondered how those other contestants got that far ...

Thanks for posting. After I heard Paul’s two numbers at the concert for the Queen, I clicked on a link of Luciano Pavarotti singing Paul’s second number, Nessun Dorma. Ah, perfection, twice.

I ‘fell in love’ with Paul Potts a few years back. Then Susan Boyles just blew me away (she has a new song out now called Wild Horses - http://www.digitalspy.com/music/a177204/listen-to-susan-boyles-new-single.html - that is superb), and now Danyl. My heart swells with pride for these average Joes who have such amazing talent that has been hidden for so long. Just goes to show you that God has placed many diamonds in the rough all around us. Good luck to these three and all the other super talents waiting to be discovered.

My recent ‘discovery’ is JP from Australia’s Got Talent. He’s also got a Sidney band called OUTLiER. Guess I’m a sucker for singer/songwriters/musicians. I’m enjoying alot of what he was unable to do on the show. Enjoy!
