If you haven't seen this, I urge you to watch it.
Certainly on the lighter side, but an amazing shot and life-altering event for this young man.
God bless him and his family.
MILLION DOLLAR HOLE IN ONE - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vpxEPwvAYIc
In these times...this does a body good. Gotta keep perspective and gotta keep a smile on your face.
Naw, I’m in Cottonwood Heights, southeast SL county. I wish I was in Heber valley. Actually, I wish I lived in Kamas and raised goats, but, sadly, my job’s down here.
Know exactly where you’re at. If you are going to be in the valley...you could do a whole lot worse than cottonwood heights. My wife and I went to school in Provo, met there, courted there and were married in SLC. Had good friends at the time, the McKays, who lived in your area.
There are a LOT of McKay’s around here (and Youngs and Pratts :o)
FWIW, when I was five, my family was at a movie theater downtown, and my mama poked me in the arm and said “that’s David O. McKay walking up the aisle... go shake his hand.” So, I did. He leaned over and talked to me for a minute. Very pleasant man. Put a smile on my young face, and an indelible remembrance in my mind.
I have one.Last year. Par 3 180 yards, even got to see it go in. Went back to same course this year(it’s an hour away), missed another one on same hole by about 3ft.
It was akin to a ricochet, not a direct bullseye!
That is definitely the best golf vid of all time. The best part of watching it is knowing that he was ad-libing the whole thing.....
