I’m not saying I agree.
But, I understand.

A can of Starting Fluid made from Ether, available at AutoZone, WalMart and other fine stores, works quite well as a miniature flame-thrower.

Is it possible it was an accident? As was the construction of the home made flame thrower?

You forget the original: WD-40.
Alas, they appear to have modified the formula to preclude such uses.

An Austrian court has convicted a man for killing his in-laws by setting them on fire with a homemade flame-thrower. That is definitely one of those subtle signs of a deteriorating relationship.

Er...just for curiosity, is there anyone here who DOES like their in-laws?
To: JoeProBono
Can someone forward the original decision in Austrian to the POTUS?

I think you can still use the starter fluid for diesel engines for those.

Hey, you just came up with another waste-of-taxpayer-money studies! I can see it now, “Researchers discover that most people can’t stand their in-laws, news at 11!”
Don’t give them any ideas! :)

Did they just stand there as he fired it up?

The ether will weaken the PVC over time. Just use your propane torch.

Ether starting fluid burns WAY hotter than WD40 ever did. It is truly amazing stuff. It’s even better than Rust-O-Leum spray paint, although spray paint has the added benefits of STICKING to whatever you’re trying to burn and STINKING unbelievably as it burns.

Right Guard spray (original deoderent with no “powder” or other BS in it) works pretty well in them.
