A mother who killed herself and her disabled daughter in a blazing car had faced constant abuse and threats from a gang of youths, an inquest heard today.
Fiona Pilkington made dozens of calls to the police and council officials to complain about the way her daughter, Francecca Hardwick, was being picked on.
The single mother was told to ignore the 16-strong gang. When Miss Pilkington called to complain that youths were trampling her hedge, police told her to close the curtains in her front room.
The 38-year-old set light to her car with Francecca, 18, and herself inside.

I had a kid pick on me when I was in the 2nd grade. Our teacher said to ignore him. I tried that and eventually the little **** spit on me! I lost it, and tackled him and started just pounding on him. Didn’t hurt more than his pride, but no guy likes getting owned like that by a girl. Anyway, he never bothered me after that.
Unfortunately, English yobs of pure white ancestry have quite a well-earned reputation themselves.
And they’re positive it was suicide, huh? My God....

It is also a shame that the lady didn't turn her wrath on the authorities and burn them down. Going Postal seems the rational thing to do.
I wonder if us FReeper ladies have similar experiences. I punched a little feller in the throat in second grade because he wouldn’t stop teasing me. Poor kid couldn’t talk above a whisper for three days, and it was my first and only trip to the principal’s office.
He never bothered me again.
Now that I am the mom of three sons I have figured out he probably liked me and that was his boy way of saying so. Poor kid.
Alan Moore's conceptualization was, unfortunately, leaning very much to the pro-Left. But the basic idea was that government is not your friend. Government is not trying to protect you. Government protects the wolves who prey upon the population. And at some point, people have to rise up and say "Enough".
ever see the movie “Watchmen” that recently came out. It originally was very pro-left, but the message was that when someone wants to take over the world, they will manufacture a crisis and then “save” us from said crisis that they control. Sounds kinda like the whole swine flu panic.
I need to filter out some of Moore's message, but I find him worth the effort.
