NBC's Chief White House Correspondent Chuck Todd does not fault the state-run media for ignoring the communist-Truther Van Jones controversy.
He says it was a waste of time.
For the record-- Van Jones was in charge of doling out $80 billion of Stimulus money to selected green projects. He was certainly no low level czar as Chuck Todd suggested.

“He says it was a waste of time.”
Of COURSE it is a waste of time!!
It doesn’t help promote a Pro-Gay Democrat agenda in ANY WAY!
To understand these people, you have to understand the people BEHIND THEM...
He’s a Communist. Like many in the media and administration and Congress.
You have problem with dis, comrade?
It is obvious, and has been for some time now, that we have two partisan media groups in this country. The SRM is leftist and talk radio and FOX are center-right. So it is not even surprising, let alone “outrageous” that the SRM will ignore stories damaging to their political allies while engaging in the disemination of propaganda aimed at discrediting their “enemies” on the right. The only thing outrageous about the SRM is that some of them still insist they are non-partisan. But nobody actually believes this anymore and their insistance on this merely points up their obvious hypocrisy.
I give MSNBC and Air America kudos for being up front in their partisanship. Just as I give kudos to Rush or Hannity for their candor in stating theirs. The propagandists at CBS, ABC, the NYT and others of that ilk simply disgrace themselves and undermine what little reputation they still have when they engage in blatantly partisan shilling for the left while claiming to be neutral reporters of the news.
I have always found watching NBC News to be a waste of time, actually.
What is MSNBC?
Chuck Todd is just a POS and a lousy excuse for a human being ...
Joe Scarborough was interviewing Todd today on the radio and called him out for NBC NOT covering the brewing ACORN scandal ...
As Todd tried to justify, I could clearly see his sneering face in my mind’s eye (although this was radio) ...
What a repulsing vision !!!
Scarborough then tried to point out the petty little embarassments that the GOP has had and that NBC seizes onto them like a pit bull on a ham bone ...
Todd said that he had to make “journalistic” decisions as to what was news or not ...
Sheesh !!!
Al,ways the same exuses:
1. We are too busy.
2. Waste of time.
3. Need to focus on more important things.
The list goes on. Comes up with his BC, ACORN, and all the other Dem criminal activities.
LOL! I wonder if that thing works on Shep Smith and Lindsey Graham! ;-)
Incurious Basturds.

Interesting haw he seems to regret using the phrase “main stream media”, it’s as if he knows it’s a derogatory term.
Thanks for posting this. Caught it on Beck and looked for the quote.
It is rare that you see such blatant sucking up to the White House, yet here we hear the Chief White House Correspondent and political director for NBC News no less.
Here is Chuck Todd’s comment via
JOE SCARBOROUGH: “You say this has been a Republican obsession, ACORN. It certainly hasn’t been an obsession in the media. Mike Allen said the mainstream media was slow on the Van Jones story, also slow on this [ACORN] story. Is that a fair charge?”
CHUCK TODD: “You know, no . . . I think Van Jones was not, this was not a big guy in the White House administration. If we’re all going to focus on trying to figure out who Van Jones and his past relationships, when you go #600 down on the list of White House staff. Is that the best use of the time of the mainstream media? You know, we’ll see. Clearly some on the right had objections to Van Jones and they successfully got the White House to sever ties.”
