Naw, the law cannot fix STUPID.
A child has a right to have a mother and a father. Marriage is not about recognizing “committed relationships”. The government can neither give approbation nor condemnation to “life styles.” The government through marriage can require those who produce a child to care for it so the taxpayers don’t.

I think that is absolute crap about the flexibility of sexual attraction. I’ve known that I liked the opposite sex - exclusively - since I was a little kid. My gay friends tell me the same regarding their attractions.
As far as the written contract, clearly that’s not the case when it comes to a variety of government defined benefits.
Faulty syllogism is becoming the default mental condition in this country.
Their relationships can be recognized: as civil partnerships. Beyond that, what exactly constitutes
the recognition that they seem to need?
What they want is universal approval and support for
their arrangement, an an equal footing with marriage,
which would be a lie. It is not marriage, cannot be marriage and should not be marriage.
I agree with you that these feelings are probably programmed into people by some means or another (Anne Heche notwithstanding), why else would someone be gay and subject themselves to such misery. But, heres another fact of life:
marriage exists because its takes a man and a woman to make a baby. It defines the relationship (has done so for eons).
Regardless of however many gay celebrities pair up and adopt kids, they cannot change this fact.

People engage in self-destructive behavior all the time, particularly if it satisfies an adolescent need to thumb one's nose at authority.
Many homosexuals I've known absolutely revel in their status as outsiders, to the point that I'm convinced that they honestly enjoy being provocative more than any real desire to be "normalized."
In the same way that "just wanting to be left alone" morphed into "we want to be seen as the same as hetero husband and wife," you can be sure that their demands on society will not end when they are allowed to "marry."
I don’t know about that. After recently having bad reactions to xenoestrogens (chemically created estrogens) found in many common products I am starting to have a different take on homosexuality. Extra estrogen makes females more masculine and males more feminine. Xenoestrogens are found in just about all hair/body care products. They are also in most plastics, including plastics that food is stored in. Bovine growth hormones also contain xenoestrogens.

Absolutely. It's not as though homosexuality is all "hush hush" even without homo marriage. Saying she needs homo marriage to be able to "come out of the closet" is ludicrous.
