LOL. I love that tune. I was wordsmithing on the tune Hang on Sloopy by the Mcoys !!

We used to have Snoopy painted on U2 spy plane we flew out of a British base on Cyprus long ago.

We changed the sloopy to snoopy for our bar song !!

Yep, no bar, but I used to sing along with that song quite heartily — made me smile.

Late night trivia....

McCoys grew-up near my hometown (Dayton, OH) and led by the singer/ guitarist Rick Zerringer. He later became Rick Derringer and did lots of studio work with Steely Dan, Edgar Winter, Weird Al among others. An amazing talented player.

In my teens, Simon & Garfunkle played the basement under a large shopping center called "The Caverns". The McCoys were the warm-up act and stayed onstage to be S&G's backing band.
