In fact “VAN” Jones is ANTHONY Jones....who gave him his moniker? HE DID. Yeah —he changed it himself.

The Dutch van (German von) is an honorific indicating a member of the landed aristocracy, i.e., the noble classes. Kind of odd choice for a Communist.

Sharp black guys are too good for black women. They want a good-looking white woman. Trophy wife status symbol for them. They took a white woman from a white man. Just like a black celeb having a white chauffeur.

Now dumb skinny-ass baggy pants gangbangers who can't even afford a gun (but have nice wheels) have to get by on morbidly obese white women with mustaches that no white man wants. Ever notice that?

Rucker’s wife is Heidi Hess, who inherited a trust fund from her grandfather, owner of what were the Parisian department stores in the South and the Midwest.

And check out Rucker’s hairdo on page 9 of this PDF:

About the Rucker/Hess wedding:

Heidi Hess and James Rucker star in a saga of art, romance...and concrete.

Location: Dogpatch Studios, S.F.
Planner: Laurie Arons
Caterer: Paula LeDuc Fine Catering
Florist: Nicole Sillapere
Photographer: Thayer Allyson Gowdy

The church, the lace, the cake—it just wasn’t for them. Heidi Hess, a 32-year-old teacher, chose to marry political organizer James Rucker, 34, in a cool industrial space on Potrero Hill. As guests arrived, they attached cards inscribed with their thoughts to a candlelit art installation. The couple said their vows before an enormous custom-made silk curtain, which fluttered across the vast room. And the cake? There wasn’t one, only luscious galettes, which were served on glass stands shipped from Alabama by Hess’s grandmother. Tradition found a place here after all.

“We were really excited to have such a raw space to work with. The cement floors and walls and the vaulted beam ceilings—it was way better than some hotel ballroom.” -Heidi Hess

Robert Di Niro is married to a black woman - Grace Hightower di Niro. I read somewhere she just hobnobs with the New York socialites and does not mingle a lot with black women.

I come from a racially diverse family too..I have one cousin who is half white and half black. And I married into a family where one niece is black and several members are of other nationalities. I am Irish married to a Mexican and I do know about some of the racial “remarks’ made by my side of the family..and I don't like it and am not shy about reminding the nieces and nephews and the others just who is in our family and to watch how and what they say.
What baffles is that a person who is such a racist, making public remarks about whites, would even consider a white spouse in the first place. And what must those children think as they grow when they hear the parents degrade part of who they are? It must be very confusing. And in this day now, when thank heavens mixed race marriages are not looked down upon by most people, this kind of thing should not be happening but does, it seems, only in homes where the racial hatred continues to exist. There are famous race baiters and we know who they are.

I think it’s fine that deNiro married a black woman —I’m sure she’s gorgeous. But to be an equivalent situation, are you saying that how things have worked out is that part of deNiro’s job involves going around, deriding black folks for being black...?

My aim is not to castigate people who marry outside of their race —I did.

No, what is instead puzzling me is that someone who did that also appears to take such extravagant pleasure in heaping scorn on the race he married into. Spouses who reallllly trust each other probably DO sometimes say funny stuff about the other guy’s race —that’s sometimes hugely funny, and I don’t think it particularly means anything.

But while Van Jones might well do that, what he is assuredly doing is something very different —going out and regularly telling ALL WHITE FOLKS that they suck, all while being married to a white woman.

That....is puzzling to me.

So again...if anyone can tell me about a non-black married to a black who goes around saying nasty stuff about them in an intense and sustained manner, could you post that photo, or name that person.

Because I have never run into that in my whole life.

AAaaaaahh I see what you’re saying. I, too, have never come across a white man married to black woman, then ends up putting down black folks.

I don’t understand the guy either. I didn’t know what he looked like until the other day when I saw him on TV. I don’t know how much his children hear, though. Assuming the photo is recent, they look very young. But, I agree that children should be raised to embrace both sides of their family. I don’t know how someone like him justifies what he says. I’m just glad he’s out of the picture now.
