A dear FReeper FRiend reminded me that Glenn Beck is going to gather his family next Friday for a solemn day of fasting and praying for our nation. This post is a reminder for us ... for me ... to do the same.
1. Are you going to get with a group to pray?
2. Is your church organizing a worship service?
3. Does your place of work recognize 9/11 and how will they acknowledge that event?

I was working in the newsroom at our newspaper that day, and Ill be there on 9-11

I’m not sure about 9/11 itself yet, but I am contemplating visiting the Flight 93 Memorial in Somerset, PA on the 9th and then greeting the Tea Party Express folks in Johnstown.
It was as if every member of my family died at the same time ..I never knew any of the people who died on 9-11, but it was the same feeling.
I was in a different city at a customers site. Wondering if/when I would be able to get home again.
Right by Love field in Dallas. I still remember how quiet it was that week from the lack of airplanes.
I was and still am a newspaper editor and when I finally got it ready to go, I drove home with my 9mm browning pistol in my lap loaded.
I will be singing at a Christian/patriotic 9/11 program at my church called “For the Future”.
I asked my choir the other day what they would say
if they knew the plane was going to crash in two
minutes? The obvious answer is the God would tell
them what to say.
However, Scripture tells us to be ready in and out
of season. To have a reasonable answer for the
Gospel. And thus... I assign myself practice
scenarios because you never know, do you?
Enjoy the memorial. Be praying in the Spirit while
you are there. I know you will.
Yeah, right. Why is a good Christian fasting during Ramadan? Should that not take place during Lent? The guy just stays confused, doesn’t he?
I was in California watching the news coverage.
I can’t imagine what you went through but I
understand your feeling of loss. We lost some
friends at the towers and in the planes that day.
I finally got out of Dallas after 6 days. Only 4 passengers on the 737.
At the airport some guy from New York was freaking out over the hunters rifle case. Surrounded by people who had slept in the airport for several days and this idiot was saying “do you think he really has a rifle in that”.
Since then I’ve worked with numerous transplants who watched the buildings fall. People who helped care for other people hurt either from debris or from the mad rush.
One lady was running out of the building as the people jumping were impacting around her. She ended up with other peoples bone fragments in her legs.
That is what the communists and MSM want us to forget. America was united following 9/11 and that made us stronger.

Interesting how all the 9/11 interviews are from
people who were either at the Pentagon or in NYC.

I will be in Washington, DC touring and scouting the protest area for the next day’s protest. Might even meet up with a freeper or two. I’ll probably take a picture of the Pentagon at some point during the day to remember the 9/11 attack. I intend to stand on the same side that the plane hit.
