I was sick much of last month, still don't feel good, I'm just old, tired, aggravated and worn out, I suppose.
First is a LITTLE BLUE HERON, next a GREAT BLUE HERON, different birds altogether.
I love the color of the Magnolia seeds, nothing else quite like it.
Gorgeous!!!
Every day like clockwork. He hangs for about 30 minutes, depending on which one swings by. Today, an elder brother of the falcon showed up, hung for about 45 seconds, then grabbed a chipmunk and took off. There seem to be about six of them that rotate. Once a mom and young one flew through the area, 3 ft off the ground, wing tip to wingtip, flying about 20mph through the area.
I keep waiting for them to start dropping off a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon, but don’t know where they would get it from....(recalling that Coors/Miller Light commercial from Superbowl umptifratz.)
Gorgeous color, and outstanding shots. I’ve sure missed you the past few weeks. Glad you’re feeling some better.
Thought about you today and was about to FReepmail you, and what do I find in my ping list? You dragged yourself out of a sickbed to post some spectacular pictures. Not to scold you too much, but take care of yourself, Swampy!
The little blue heron is my favorite, and then the magnolia seeds. But it’s all lovely stuff as usual.
Beautiful!
That is soooooo cool.
I got worried when I did not see you here for a LOOOOONG time. I missed the wonderful pictures you share with all the Freepers.
I wish the reason was you were on the Tea Party express buses, but I am glad to see you back.
We, oldtimers have to stick together.
I hope you are feeling better. Thank you for the pixs. Always appreciated. I don’t thank you as much as you deserve. I have a red-tail hawk baby that LOVES my birdbath (Cvengr Post 9)but if I tried, it would probably look like a Red-X-In-A-Box.
Thanks, I’m eager to move around some. I have to be very careful what I’m exposed to, everything lands in my lungs. I have a Drs appointment that I’m dreading, it will mean sitting in a room full of coughing, spitting sick people. If I don’t go I can’t get my prescriptions renewed, and I need my therapy meds to keep going.
