This long-term Congresscritter has forgotten (if he ever learned) the business process of annual review. Granted that he is in his 6th term but he should realize that he is being issued a 'warning note' by his employers, the voters of his district.
Just like any other employee, he now has notice that he has to clean-up his job performance and again like any other employee, he needs to learn that talking back is a no-no. Like many other employees across the nation, yellow warning cards are being displayed (international football reference) and pink slips are being contemplated.

Baron Hill: "This is my town hall meeting!", He has confused his first name with a royal title.

Time for Baron Hill to be voted out of office. This would make good fodder for his opponent.

“You’re not going to tell me how to run my Congressional Office”.
Oh the arrogance. More and more everyday, I feel I witnessing the same behavior that started the Revolutionary War.

We also sent them to get some “Relative Bearing Grease,” and then down to sickbay for “Fallopian Tubes.”
And who hasn’t been sent for a can of “Barrier Paint?” You know, the black and yellow striped stuff.
Yeah, those were the days....

Let me repeat this again, this is my Town Hall meeting, and you are not going to tell me how to run my office!Excuse me Congressman, but that is OUR office, not yours. You are there representing us and when you have been there so long you have forgotten that little fact, it's time for you to go home.

LOL! I'm in good company!
The best was during a turnaround and sending this one guy for a bucket of steam. He came back about 3-4 hours later with a five gallon bucket with a lid on it. He comes up and says, "I got the steam."
He melodramatically pulls the lid off the bucket and tilts it so that the crew sees about 1/4" of water in the bottom. Then, without missing a beat, he says, "Damn, I guess it condensated."
The whole crew rolled with laughter! We didn't mess with him any more.

ISNT YOUR MEETING. Its OUR meeting. How dare they forget that they work for US? I honestly think new policy should be written where (1) all reps must hold a required number of meetings each year, properly advertised, in venues large enough to accommodate all those who want to attend, and (2) the PEOPLE set up the meetings, and THEY inform the rep where and when to show up. No more of this elitist Im too good for you crap.
