Footprints...
I wonder if that right foot thingy was a practice in the US in 1961 ???
Also it may have been necessary for ID to get papers to bring the baby back to the US
You certainly may be on to something here.
Corsis debunk point #8 that baby footprints weren’t on Kenyan BCs in the early 1960s is refuted by Dr. Ang’awas
use of such footprints in his publication. Corsis claim that Smith’s BC doesn’t look like their other Kenyan BCs is
easily refuted because Kenya Colony BCs Kenya outside the coastal strip leased from Zanzibar) wouldn’t necessarily look
like Mombasa Protectorate of Kenya BCs. NWD made the same silly claim about Taitzs 1964 certification compared to 1961
Kenya Colony BCs. Very sloppy on WWDs part.
My daughter was born in 1988, I don’t have a long form certificate for her, but the hospital did give me a “Record of Birth” on which BOTH of her footprints appear.
I haven’t had any kids lately, but as I recall, the mother fills out all the information on a forum and a clerk will type it up.
