It's week No. 1 in NCAA football. Tonight the S.C. Gamecocks of the SEC go against the N.C. Wolfpack of the ACC and No. 19 Boise State of the WAC takes on the No. 16 Oregon Ducks of the Pac-10.

S.C. will beat N.C. State tonight and Oregon will dump make Boise see the Blues.
Tomorrow's upsets: Georgia Bulldogs over Oklahoma State and T. Boone Pickings dreams for OWEbummer's wind farm country (33-28). Nevada will also send "Fat Charlie" finally packing at South Bend (28-24). BYU will give Oklahoma some fits but I don't see Mitt Romney's favorite team in the victory column as Sooners win (52-40). The other top 25 all face cream puffs.
I love it!! Let the games begin!
USC
FIGHT ON!
Go Aztecs. That's right...Aztecs.
If they're playing at Boise State, this could be the ugliest game ever played.
Au contraire' the Sooners will win but BYU has had an aerial attack going all the way back to Lavelle Edwards. Besides, Mormons don't drink or smoke wacky tabacky ... like half the Sooners who come from da hood. The only thing going for the Boomers is Sam Bradford and, if he ever gets injured, it's all over.
wow. that time already!
Go Golden Gophers!
oops..
I’m gonna go with the Gamecocks and BoiseState
Ha! What are you smoking? The Golden Chockers haven't had a coach since Lou Holtz.
Let’s see what the Vegas line is...
NCState by 5
Oklahoma State by 5 1/2
Notre Dame by 14 1/2
Oklahoma by 22 1/2
You made some gutsy picks. 3 outright underdogs and one to beat the spread.
They’re playing in Boise. Should be a great game!
I'm turning down the color on the tv.
LOL...I love the blue turf.
I’m not selling Nevada short...it is a good team and I remember Appalachian State and Michigan. The Georgia Bulldogs are without a true running back and and a star quarterback but they’ve always been ready. Besides their q.b. is a 5th year senior and may just have to tools to do it (the ‘Dogs have a great receiver). And, though I cannot stand him, “Darth Visor” Spurrier is a pretty good coach. S.C. looked terrible in its bowl game against Iowa but it was with the freshman who went through Steve Spurrier’s tantrums last year...now, that he’s a year seasoned, it should be a pretty good game. The Gamecocks have a good defense.
I'm turning down the color on the tv.
Ducks have been known to kill themselves trying to land on that field.
Why insult a man about his weight?
Reminds me of an OU joke ...
Q --- What do Bob Stoops and marijuana have in common ?
A --- They both get smoked in bowls.
You no likea the Smurf Turf?
I always yell at the wife, “Adele, what did you do to the TV?!”
(Her name’s not “Adele.”)
