This is probably the most prophetic thing Ive ever seen. Show this to your kids, spouse, and parents.

Nice cartoon...couple of points. It’s NOT prophetic. It simply shows that we’ve been fighting the same basic battle for many, many years now. Not much has changed. Second, it’s funny watching John Q Public brag about development of business (with smoke stacks in the background) and bragging about how many cars we drive despite our relative resources. Those points are now used as evidence of capitalism’s failure by the enviro crowd, and it is taught to all our kids. Last, capitalism IS an ism.

I vaguely recall seeing this as a kid on the Willie the Duck morning cartoon show on Channel 11 in Pittsburgh. With a universe of cable channels I’m sure you can find it on your TV now.....NOT!
To: DogBarkTree
The cartoon is pro freedom and capitalism, and anti-totalitarianism. I wouldn’t read anything more into it than that.

I like the line (3:08): "Why, Ism even makes the weather perfect every day".
Makes me think about the Global Warming/Climate change movement and cap and trade legislation.

Just amazing prediction of the future in cartoon form. Would make a good educational film for today’s brainwashed audiences, certainly including schoolchildren.
