The truth is nobody knows.
I’m skipping the swine flu shot and going for the regular flumist.
They are testing it here at Vanderbilt. For a bonus of $350 you too can sign up or sign up your kids to test it. They have 135 adults and 120 kids testing it now. I have to question parents signing children up for this. I think they are motivated more by money than science.
My internsist offers it every year at my checkup and i always refuse the regular flu shot, figuring i have not ever had one and haven’t been sick enough to stay in bed since NYs day of 2000, so it makes me think i shouldn’t mess with what’s been working, which is NO SHOT.
volunteering your child as a guinea pig? that is outrageous.
They call them jabs, instead of shots, in England, which just cracks me up.
Did you see there is a hospital system in upstate NY that is requiring all of its staff to get flu shots or face termination? That is truly outrageous.
The follow up question to every single one of these adminstrators who seem perplexed about people not wanting to hear from the President of the US [i read in another article that the Montgomery county MD superintendant of schools couldn't imagine why people didn't want to hear him, but "it's a diverse country'] WOULD you be equally perplexed if people were calling to protest the airing of a msg from President Bush, or would that be TOTALLY explicable to you?
did you hear about this? are they asking you to get a flu shot for your EMT duties?
You have a problem with first-line medical responders being given vaccines?

i didn’t express an opinion about anyone getting a vaccine but myself, secret mentioned upstate NY and that’s where Ti is, so i asked what they were telling them. it has absolutely NOTHING to do with me being a fringer : )

My wife, last night, saw a story about it and said to me “What day are we keeping her home?”

The devil is in the details. All someone has to do is look at the accompanying lesson plans to know there is evil afoot. And I am not exaggerating in the least.
The problem is firing people who don’t want the vaccine.

He signed up back when the tubgirl troll was hitting teh Canteen threads and stalking posters.
I came to his attention when something I said stung his little feelings.
So he signed up with a handle similar ot mine, and my doppleganger appeared.
And immediately went propmt critical, eventually explosing into a trillion tiny doppleganger bits in a blinding zot.
*sigh*
And I didn’t get a picture of it.
