I only saw 2, but I get the drift. Heck, these commercials could be talking about the regular flu as well.

Reminds me of the gag commercials on the movie “Tunnelvision”.

Never realized it was such a hokey time.

What are the chances that (a) the 2009-2010 swine flu is as impotent as the 1975-1976 version? (b) that those of us who were exposed to the earlier version have immunity?
To: Sammy67
It’s funny because a grand total of ONE person died from the 1976 Swine Flu, in the US. However, we should remember that to date, the 2009 H1N1 Flu has killed some 550+ people in the US, and over 3K in the world.

1976 = 1 US death
2009 = 550+ US deaths, so far.
This latest strain has been exponentially more deadly and virulent than the 1976 strain ever was.

I had just got off alert in the mole hole, before we went home they gave us the swine flue shot in one arm and the annual flue shot in the other. The commander said if you get sick, get sick on your off time we got off on Thursday and flew on Monday. I don't recall getting sick, drunk maybe.

One may have died but ONE other, a pig farmer, caught it. there were more reporters interviewing him than ever caught the flu. More people died standing in line waiting for the flu shot than caught the flu!
