I don’t think this story is exactly complete. My understanding is this guy broke in to someone’s house. He shot the homeowner and killed him and I believe shot someone else in the house that survived. What I have heard is that he confessed to the murder. The DA dropped the charges and the judge went along with it because the state claims they didn’t feel they could present a case that they felt would reasonably result in a conviction. So they just basically let him go; probabtion with time served.
He apparently was drunk and high when he tried to bust back in to prison and was claiming people were trying to kill him.
Hasn’t this guy ever watched the Three Stooges?
They’ve gone through the ‘how to get back into jail’ routine a number of times!
Sheesh!
...claiming people were trying to kill him.
There may be a clue for follow up here.
It is tough trying to legally earn your “three hots and a cot” so you may as well go to jail and get them free.
