They’ll say it’s to noble & patriotic thing to do. The Press will write articles about how noble & patriotic it is, and the peeps in MA will sleep soundly, knowing they elected such
noble & patriotic public servants.

Is this an ex-post facto law if they do it? The vacancy is days old. They should have taken it before that phony Teddy letter was sent.

Ex-President Manuel Zalaya of El Salvador has accepted Caddilac Duval's offer to replace Ted Kennedy as Senator until an election can be held. Gov Patrick said he couldn't think of another Leftist he would rather have in this hemisphere taking Ted Kennedy's place than ex-President Zalaya.

When asked for his comments after accepting the Massachusetts governor's offer Zalaya said, "Oh sure we agreed not to run in the election in 180 days. But I believe in the power of the people and of the vote so I have already instructed Mass State Troopers to immediately arrest Mr Patrick and hand out ballots."

Hah! Is that one of the Kennedy girls flipping the bird to someone? Remember how the MSM howled in derision after Jenna Bush stuck her tongue out at them? I guess flipping the bird is more ‘sophisticated’, so no one is saying anything about it.
