Chippy, a dog who developed an identity crisis after sharing a home with 40 cats, is being offered for adoption by the Cats Protection League as an 'honorary' feline.

My dog thought he was a cat. He grew up with a young cat about his age. He played with, snoozed with the cats and preferred cat food. I wish I could have gotten him to use the litterbox, that would have been preferrable to him holding himself until let outside.
The cat organization is doing him a great service by finding an adoptive family for him.

That is a sweet story. I hope Chippie and Annie find a nice home together.
If I live in England I’d be on the phone RIGHT NOW!
I’m not a big dog person, but I do like those Jack Russell terriers, but I’m told they can be quite hyper. A nice old one who thinks he’s a cat would be purfect for me. And that black kitty is quite gorgeous!

As one who has been owned by a Jack Russell Terrier for the past 15 years, I can tell you that they are the greatest dogs in the world. (And still playful at 15!)
