I’m glad I can help pick up the New York Times slack on this one. Maybe I should title all may updates:
CougarGA7 wireless to Free Republic
I am on my laptop afterall.
Stuart Goldman deserves most of the credit on this though. He wrote quite a good article on the battle. I’m just recapping it using his article. I’d link it but it is and EBSCOhost link so it requires a password.
If you could post similar updates for the Asian theatre that would be great! I love following this stuff. Thanks for all you do!!!
I’ll try. I tend to post follow ups on things that catch my interest. Homer puts a lot of work in the NYT work along with several supporting books that I like to add what I can. If you check last years threads you’ll notice that I tracked the Wuhan campaign that year pretty closely so I do tend to gravitate towards many of the Pacific Theater issues. I also post things such as.
Articles from the U.K. Telegraph.
Campbell Playhouse Radio with Orson Wells(until my work blocked the site for some reason).
Links to Radio Broadcasts from the Internet Radio Archive.
And I’m keeping an updated files of all the threads this year since I plan on doing the year in review thread again on New Years Day.
And of course my hopefully informative and sometimes witty commentary on events.
As I said, thanks for Homer’s and Your work. I will read it where ever you post. Thanks again!!!
‘Events near Denouement’ — Nice subtitle, the light begins to dawn in the West. Way, way, too late.
Daily Radio news broadcasts going back 80 years would make a heck of a website
