Here is video of former Gov. Mitt Romney talking about Obama's handling of the Health Care debate. The interview with Romney begins on the video at the 1:37 mark.
Romney said Obama is allowing too much liberal influence in his legislation. Romney said the government should not stay out of Health Care.
Romney defended what he signed into law in Massachusetts that covers everyone. He said they did it without a Public Option, yet have managed to cover everyone. Romney also said the Health Care costs in Massachusetts plan is "almost exactly on budget," despite the fact many say the costs far exceed what was projected. . . . . (Watch Video)

Was that before or after he pushed through RomneyCare in Massachusetts?
Looks like Mitt’s stethoscope is flip-flopping.

I still don’t understand why Rush thought this guy was our last hope for a conservative candidate in 2008... I gave up way before that.

Romney is talking out of both sides of his mouth. He says mass did it without gov’t, yet it’s about to break Mass gov’t. He says gov’t should stay out, but he didn’t.

HRC (health care reform) is not just about rationing. It's about the end of all individual rights as the corrosive effects of the new collectivist
basic human right to health care spreads throughout the system like a virus.
Congressman Weiner says that health care is not a commodity. If health care is not a commodity then doctors and nurses are not free and sovereign citizens. If health care is a right then health care workers are slaves who must serve that right for the sick and injured. If health care is a basic human right, as Weiner says, then no health care worker can refuse to provide it, for any reason, because that would violate the patient's rights.
That means that the health care providers have no individual rights. The collective right of the people to get health care would supersede the provider's individual right to set their fees, their hours or change their occupational status or even decide how to apply their skills and knowledge. A collective right, by practical definition, is a state right because it supersedes the individual rights of others.
It may not be stated in any of the bills that patient's rights to care supersede a provider's right to set fees and hours etc, but it doesn't need to. Rights are always adjudicated in the courts. The legislation simply establishes the foundation for the courts to rule in favor of the patient's collective right to care.
Weiners view is collectivist, fascist and totalitarian. His view is the underlying philosophy of the entire Health Care Reform legislation the House and Senate have put forth. Consider the setting up of community watch dogs to monitor various health parameters of citizens in the Senate version of the bill. Look at pages 382 - 393.
TITLE IQUALITY, AFFORDABLE HEALTH CARE FOR ALL AMERICANS
Even the citizens themselves will be subject to state set regulations on their behavior in order to fulfill the human right of universal health care. How much clearer can it be that these bills abrogate the concept of individual rights?

So far the most outspoken and articulate of all the Republicans has been Sarah Palin. The good old boys in that party need to step in a little closer to the plate before the next round of elections. I can see a Romney/Graham ticket now. Talk about a Rhino “Dream Team”!

Mitt lusting for the presidency.
Don’t give it to him!
I heard him on one of the talk shows yesterday, defending his Massachusets socialized medicine show.

Title says Should stay out. Second paragragh says Should not stay out. Which one is the typo?Probably neither. It is typical Romney-speak to make sure that you have every possible position covered. He never knows when the weather vane will turn and he wants to be prepared. Such inconsistency is easy to do when you have no convictions except promoting yourself.

Romney proves my theory that what we really have is a two-headed one party system.

I have to say though that from the perspective of the federal government that they should not be involved with the health care but the constitution leaves all other things up to the states if they want to handle so Mass having health care doesn’t seem like a bad thing (except that it is failing).
But I still don’t want to see him as president... want Sarah or someone who is conservative.

it may be a state decision. But it is still socialism. And that is the problem with it.
And any Republican, much more a candidate for the executive office, should understand the stupidity of socialized medicine in his sleep.
Mitt is a pragmatist. He seems to do nothing by principle. Now that he knows which way the wind is blowing, it is good to hear his voice raised in opposition to Obamacare.
Mitt is a male bimbo-—nothing more! We already have sufficient RINO’S. WE DON’T NEED ANOTHER ONE.

Wow, this guy has brass. This is what we get for candidates, regardless of party, nothing but liberal fascist clones. Anyone need more proof that our political system is illegitimate?

I think it will be DeMint and somebody with Palin leading a strong third party. I can’t believe that she would stay with the Republican party after the lack of support during her bout with the left. I’m voting for her again wherever she turns up. Can you imagine a president that you want to look at?
