Seems some people are actually outraged, outraged that First Lady Michelle Obama dared to bare so much leg by wearing shorts on a recent trip to the sweltering Grand Canyon.
OMG. First she wears a sleeveless dress, now this?
But think about this for a minute. What should she have worn to the Grand Canyon? A tweed pantsuit? A ballgown? What do you wear on your summer vacation?

Oprah needs to talk to her!
Seems some people are just idiots.
What happened to that great new hair do that “everyone” was so excited about a few weeks ago after they came back from Russia?
Who do I look like to you, Mr. Blackwell?
“What happened to that great new hair do that everyone was so excited about a few weeks ago after they came back from Russia?”
She left it on the wig stand at the WH?
They look a lot alike, but the one on the left looks to have a bit more rank...
Then buy her some decent clothes! Hey Michelle. Just get yourself an Ann Taylor catalogue! Would that be so hard to do? And fire your wardrobe person. You must have one of those. You have about 22 paid people on your personal staff last time I saw.
She looks like the First Tourist. So?
Seems to me the LAT is manufacturing outrage.

Good grief....that woman is ‘pigeon toed’.
You said “she appears to be competing with her daughters.”. That is what I have been thinking all along. She needs to move out of the junior department.
I remember this phoney as crap photo, I think it was taken in Hawaii if my memory is correct. It’s still nauseating after all these years.
The gals who clean my house come better dressed than this. She has no judgment whatsoever.
Their default mode is NOT classy.
Nah, the one on the left has more ribbons. Not identical.
You owe me a new pair of eyeballs.
“Nobody, absolutely nobody has a problem with this. This is just LA Times trying to gin up some pity for this poor abused first lady.”
For a First Lady she should dress better. Then again, Michele is no “lady” so maybe folks shouldn’t have a problem with the “street look”.
