The Press Trust of India news agency reported an effigy of US President Barack Obama was burnt in the city of Allahabad in protest at Khan's ordeal.
LOL!! Obama's Fault!!! :-)
Seriesly, though--if 19 Americans had flown airplanes full of Indian citizens into buildings in New Delhi, am I to surmise that 8 years later, there would be NO profiling of American citizens that travel to India??

Khan proved one more time that Indian government officials can be bribed sufficiently to do the bidding of private parties.
As if that needed proved.

Most Hindu Indians I’ve met I like very much. Can’t say the same for the Moose-limb ones.
To be truthful, you get a Hindu alone in a room, and typically they’ll admit they’re not fond of the Muzzies much themselves...

Shahrukh Khan's troubles were "yet another example of American paranoia post-9/11", director Kabir Khan said. "It saddens me to say this but I don't think the US will ever be cured of Islamophobia." I'm sorry, is the United States the country where Hindu mobs burn trains full of muzzys? Is the United States the country where religious motivated unrest results in scores of people laying dead in the streets?
Look, Khan, if you don't like our entry requirements, stay in that crap hole, India. If you're craving a first world, civilized country, then play by our rules and shut your pie hole.
You may be the bees knees in the endless slum of india, but here, you're a nobody. Get used to it.

The Indian government said Sunday the United States must explain why Bollywood star Shahrukh Khan was questioned at a New York airport, after the actor suggested he was singled out as a Muslim. What is the problem?

First of all, he’s just a star in a movie, not a god. He also should have thanked security for being so cautious. After all, if he is so innocent, then he might be saved because security is so thorough in the U.S.

They can wipe my behind. I guess the Indians want the red carpet treatment for one of their Bollywood stars that no American gives a nickel care about. I have seen SlumDog and it’s one of the most overrated pieces of crap I’ve seen.
They marketed it as West Side Story - curry style and the barf factor went up 10-fold. This is what you get when actors speak and no one listens nor cares.

I thought he had the same name as someone on a watch list, which would mean he wasn’t singled out because he was a Muslim, but because his parents chose too common of a name for their baby.

Mighta been a mistake, in retrospect to give an Academy Award to the highly overrated SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE, a very confused and irritating film. It seems to have emboldened these leading lights of the Indian Film Industry, who have already adjudged most of us outside Hollywood as being the racists Henry Louis Gates thinks we are.

But to make matters worse, the trip was also to promote a new film, My Name is Khan, which is about racial profiling of Muslims after the Sept. 11 attacks.
What a coinkydink!! Things that make you go "Hmmmmmm..."
