William Hadley had some interesting comments in his letter of Aug. 3 about Barack Obama's birthplace. He mentioned a large sum of money our president has spent to block any disclosure of personal records, including a "birth certificate."

What I, along with others, would like to know is why would he need to spend any money to block something that was perfectly legal and aboveboard? If all is correct with his birthplace, then why would there be a problem?

As Hadley said, the media can change their position on certain issues as quickly as they change their socks, and most of the time it has to do with the favorable side of Obama.

We all should pay more attention to what is really going on in our world today, and get involved.

Agreed. It appears that they are reporting the expenses as required by campaign finance law and I keep seeing the gross numbers, and WND broke down the individual amounts. What does it take to get to see the detailed expenses and hours billed to which attorney and legal action? I loved to see them but my guess is that an audit would be necessary to break through any misdirection. At least we could see some specific reference to motions filed.
