Geico, advertisers pull ads from Glenn Beck’s show

Left-wing pressure groups Color of Change and Media Matters are claiming responsibility for getting Geico Insurance, Progressive Insurance, Procter & Gamble, and Lawyers.com to pull ads from Glenn Beck’s Fox News program.

The campaign against Beck picked up steam when the Fox News personality commented that President Obama was “racist” with a “deep-seated hatred for white people”.

Now, what can we do to PO the "free credit report" guys?

Make the public aware that you don't have to buy what those guys are peddling to get a free report annually from each of the three major credit bureaus?

Geico runs the world's worst ads, and Progressive is exactly what it sounds like — an insurance company run by lefties. P&G always has been afraid of its own shadow. And lawyers.com? — who gives a **** about promoting bottom-feeders? Beck will have plenty of advertisers who stick.

Perfect, LOL. I agree completely.

I too emailed GEICO :(
Long time customer—nearly 20 years; said that I did not know they were politically left-leaning that Media matters was leftist group & don’t approve of them, etc. We will see. Also told them that FOX has the highest ratings. Wonder what Beck’s ratings are for his time slot?

Eh, GEICO stands for GOVERMENT EMPLOYEES INSURANCE COMAPNY—maybe should’nt be too surprised. :(

Geico is General Electric - in Obama’s hip pocket. Try Allstate or State Farm.

Wait, you are saying GEICO is a subsidiary of GE?

Just checked; it is subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway—not much better, but it is not GE from what I read.

My mistake. They used to be a big insurer for defense contract employees, many of whom worked the the GE plants around where I used to live. GEICO is a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, owned by Warren Buffett. It was founded as the Government Employees Insurance Company.

There is often a cost to telling the truth and taking a stand. Truth will still win out.

Some fine men once pledged their lives, their fortunes, their sacred honor.

God bless you, Glenn.

Take your green assed metrosexual lizard and cram it. I cancelled Geico years ago for their crook assed behavior.

You bet, I can't stand that company or it's never ending commercials, as the cable companies charge the peons to watch their asinine commercials, that have already been paid for.

I smell a marketing advertisement opportunity for Smith and Wesson, Remington and Ruger.

That really won’t do anything to Beck. Liberal whacko companies selling on Beck probably didn’t work out anyway.
That stupid progressive commercial has become more than annoying.

All three of those insurance companies have ads that grate me to the bone.

Geico, with their stupid piles of money with eyeballs, and that idiot lizard!

Progressive, with that wench Flo, “We’re walkin... we’re walkin...” hope she keeps going!

Amica, with their “It’s not how you’re covered, it’s how you’re treated...” that cheeky actress makes me want to heave... got news for ya... It IS how you’re covered! Cut me a big enough check and you can spit in my general direction!

Progressive is owned by that guy Lewis, who’s part of the Soros left wing Billionaire’s club. Dropped their policy years ago.
