I am so disappointed in Charles. That is just sad. And it does demonstrate that he needs to get outside the beltway and breath the air we breath.

Here’s the letter I wrote him after spitting nails over what he said tonight:

Dr. Krauthammer,

As a sometime fan of yours, I want to express my outrage with respect to your
comments this evening.

You made the strong suggestion that those of us that oppose the health care bill and attend
town halls to have a debate about the issues just ask tough questions of the legislators.

The town hall events are mostly “managed” and the questions are usually pre-screened. At Rep. Dingell’s
recent town hall, the first four rows of people were packed with all union thugs, and regular folks didn’t get to hear the questions being asked. This resulted in the very upset father of the gentleman in the wheelchair confronting Rep. Dingell after being driven into a rage by these “management of the public” tactics?

Obama is having a town hall tomorrow in New Hampshire. Want to take a friendly wager on the number of pre-screened questions he’ll receive?

I have been a long time activist on the right. I have seen Leftist thuggery up close and personal, whether it be an ANSWER march or Code Pink people. We on the right don’t do that. In almost all cases, we act on principle.

What you are seeing in the town halls is outrage not only on the right, but with Independents and Democrats as well.

I expect Kondracke to not have a clue - he’s regurgitating Conventional Washington wisdom. You on the other hand I expect more of. You certainly have the intellect - I’ve seen you use it. Please exit the Washington bubble you appear to be in and get out amongst the regular people.

The panel tonight (even Steve Hayes, whom I have enormous respect for) appeared to not be in touch with reality.

There are many, many examples of what I speak of occurring all over the country. Don’t misread this.

Respectfully,

sauropod

PS: I don’t always agree with your stance on issues which is why I labeled myself a “sometime fan.” Nothing personal was meant by that. You are correct in about 80% of the positions you take.

Wants to keep his job. Perilous times has away of flushing out the truth. Kicking Rush is always a good way to quite the liberals.

Sad ... I stopped listening to this show when Brit left.

Wow what a mischaraterization of this grassroots movement by them all...very disappointing analysis, Charles has got it all wrong, he must get out of the beltway!

It’s called political inbreeding. These people are so isolated from us, the hoi polloi, they are clueless. Conservative, liberal and armadillo alike.

I haven’t listened to Rush in years; I work during the day. Matter of fact I can’t even remember every listening to his radio show. How could he encourage me, then?

These two are little more than the Jon Stewart media's step-ford wives. There must be some big party they are seeking an invite... maybe a week over on the Vineyard????

Are there massive underground uranium deposits or lithium in the drinking water inside the beltway? These guys need to be smacked with an eight pound walleye. Criminy sakes.

That’s it for Krauthammer. He has spent too much time inside the Beltway. Bye-Bye Charles. You have just voided your credibility.

Just like anybody, Charles gets it wrong every once in a while; this is just one of those times. I still think he’s one of the smartest guys in the country.

At least he’ll admit when he’s wrong. I think he pridicted Obama would be a moderate, and wouldn’t swing too far left too fast. He was wrong, and he admitted he was wrong.

Charles is a brilliant man but D.C. has corrupted his brain. He needs to get out of town for a while and try to understand real americans.

If Rush Limbaugh is behind the yelling at these townhall gatherings, then Walter Cronkite was behind the hippie radicals’ torching the armories during the Vietnam war.

I wrote to Brett tonight and said that Charles was drinking the Koolaid. O’reilly is on saying the Dems are making a mistake demonizing the people at the Town Hall meetings. Calls tham ordinary people. Go figure.

Krauthammer is very intelligent, but sometimes I think he doesn’t have a lick of common sense. This is one of those times.
