BORAS, Sweden, Aug. 9 (UPI) -- A man who fell asleep along a railroad track in Sweden probably awoke with a bad headache, which wasn't bad considering police say he was hit by a train.

The unidentified man had apparently been drinking before he fell asleep on the tracks outside of Boras. He woke up just long enough to move his head out of the way.

"He had woken up when the train came, raised his head and hit it on a metal object on the train," Sven Persson of the Vastra Gotaland police said, "Then he went back to sleep."

What are they planning?

LOL...sorry for the double post. I think I’ll put on some Boxcar Willie myself and have a Maker’s Mark before laying my head down on some soft RR tracks!

Well, those certainly look more like sleeping Swedish ducks passing a train...but is the legend on the side of the train in Swedish, Danish, or Norwegian?

LOL, I dunno for sure.(It just looked kinda Scandinavian to me) We'll have to ask our resident expert over there, Euro.

Hey Euro: post #19 - is that Svensk on the train?

LOL!

Makes me think of a graphite “photo realistic” portrait I did of Linda for a guy friend.

He couldn’t “believe I did that” so I dragged a pile of portraits I’d done to the office one day.

[Morrison, Dave Roth, Springsteen, etc]

Up ‘til that day, everybody in the office was “wowed” by one of the other girl’s cartoons of Garfield the Cat.

Heh.
