It would be helpful if you identified what issue you are talking about....birth certificate or something else?

BO is a weasel.
Yes, he is better than most anyone on CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC.

SO WHAT?

BO got where he is due to conservative revolt against the MSM.

But, BO has NO loyalty to us at all.

IN fact, BO is too darn stupid to really explain anything that is complex.

He goes for the easy stuff.

He never tries to change minds, he jumps on populist bandwagons and often does harm to the conservative cause with his huge ego and false claims of insider information.

Like any other celebrity, he undoubtedly prefers either the left or the right side as his photo-op "best angles." More often than not lately it is obvious the left side is preferable. Once in a while he throws in a right angle view, but his repetitious guests get that shot more often than he does.

He might as well turn the viewer comment part of his show into one long informercial for books and products he is hawking.

I quit listening to BOR's radio show when he went after the swift boat veterans. I have no TV.

There was no doubt in my mind that he was protecting his prospective guests list. He made no secret that he wanted Senator Kerry on his show.

This was on FR from Canadian News...Sorry I’ve been looking for a link and can’t find it. It may be the answer as when it was first presented there was a picture of O Rielly on the page next to the article.

Since I hardly expect you to spend 3 hours listening to the Laurie Roth show out of Washington State, and I did; I’ll give you the benefit of some of my notes.
The show is an interview of Doup Hagman (Private Eye, licensed in 33 states) and Judi McLeod (Editor, Canada Free Press) on their investigation behind their story published earlier this week that multiple major TV and Radio networks and anchors have been threatened by the Obama Administration on the loss of their licenses and more if they MENTION the Birth Certificate controversy on air. Furthermore they were given a list of terms they could use skirting and skewing the topic if it is brought up by a guest. Doug and Judi have original, signed affidavits, meeting notes, etc. secreted in several places, both inside and outside the country backing their claims.
What was the bombshell? Names of the Networks. Further details of the plans, etc.
Fox News, NBC, CBS, CNN and 2 large radio networks that Doug refused to name. Threats were professional and personal and implied bodily harm against family.
The White House operates an Internet War Room of paid and unpaid posters that have infiltrated both left and right discussion websites — FreeRepublic and Daily Kos were mentioned. The purpose of this network is specifically to marginalize the legitimacy of the birth issues.
The message is DO NOT QUESTION THIS PRESIDENT! (or his birth certificate, oaths of allegience, passport info, college records and activities, legal licensing in IL, etc.)
Some of the people at the highest level involved in this news blackout include George Soros, Rahm Emanuel, David Axelrod and even members of the Bush Admin who colluded with the Obama camp during the transition to make these questions go away. THey also mentioned someone named Maury (?) Strong who conspired with Soros and vowed in 2004 (?) to bring the US auto industry down. Strong and Soros are behind the import of Chinese vehicles.
At the end of the show, Philip Berg called in and announced that he still has 3 lawsuits pending aimed at forcing Obama to reveal his birth certificate. One of them names Barry Soetoro and involves false claims. It claims that Barry Soetoro is an illegal alien and wants to force him to return back salary and benefits accorded him when he falsely took the position of State Senator from IL. It also accuses the Whitehose of having a conflict of interest with Eric Holder dating back a number of years. That is at the very end of Hour #3 if you want to skip ahead and get the actual words.
Get the popcorn. This will be interesting to watch.

O’Reilly has always been bucking for a MSM anchor job. He came out of the MSM and thus he shares many common values with them. So it is not surprising that he would pen his love letter to Obama in Parade magazine. [BTW, I have not read it. I have just seen mention of it.]

On the other hand, you will probably be pretty partisan if you don’t have a list of things Obama did that you like by the end of his term. I kept such a list in Bill Clinton days, signing welfare reform etc. So in this sense it is reasonable for O’Reilly to be open minded about Obama. It is very likely he will do some things each of like while clearly the early evidene is that he will be on balance terrible.

I have always felt that O’Reilly is a Liberal at heart who determined to make money in the Pundit field. He calculated where the most money was to be had and went to the Right, especially on the radio where he understood that Liberal talk show hosts tended to not make money. It shows occasionally when he gets caught on the wrong side of something because he speaks up before he has discerned the conservative viewpoint and he does not come to the conservative naturally. Sometimes when he gets caught out he backtracks, sometimes he just quits talking about it and, rarely, he bristles and attempts to instruct the Right on what its position should be.

BOR can be a pompous ass and a royal jerk, but he remains the most popular analyst on cable news. His show is fun to watch. He definitely doesn't like the leftist socialist agenda of Obama and the Dems. On most issues O’Reilly is a traditionalist and fairly conservative.

With Fox's anti-Obama bomb throwers Hannity and Beck, I think O’Reilly feels he has to go out of his way to assure fair and balanced coverage from his perspective.

O’Reilly also holds several positions that anger Freepers and rightly so. O’Reilly really doesn't like anything to do with internet activism and the new media, which this forum is a part of.
