Tom needs glasses! The optical shop was closing by the time we finished at the doctor, so we’ll have to go order them tomorrow. My new prescription isn’t much different from the old one - I just needed a new set of glasses, even if the prescription stayed the same.

Wow. I’ve worn glasses or contacts since I was seven. When I was in the accident, I got contacts, and wore them until I got sick. Now, I have “sicca syndrome” so contacts are uncomfortable.

I loved them and wish I could find a type that were suitable. I had rigid, then went to gas-permeable but my sicca syndrome began, and my eyes would dry out, and the lens would fall out if I blinked.
Then I went to soft, but when my eyes dried out, the lenses were stuck to my eyes.
